A1 Team Switzerland has signed Schweizer Sportfernsehen (SSF) as an official partner for the rest of the current season. The partnership will be seen for the first time at the next round in Malaysia (November 25, 2007).

Schweizer Sportfernsehen will share the A1 Team Switzerland race day experience with Swiss based fans and viewers complete with additional short insert features highlighting the race day every Sunday of a race weekend. The show will be broadcast live, or where the time difference is significant, delayed as-live to enable prime time viewing.

The Swiss channel will also review the races every Tuesday after a race. Schweizer Sport Fernsehen is widely recognised throughout Switzerland, a country of 7 million inhabitants.

This year the chanel's penetration reached 1.8 million households in German-speaking Switzerland. The TV network has a short/mid term plan to reach 75% of all Swiss households representing over 2.5 million households.

Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland commented, "At A1 Switzerland our team/A1 Team Switzerland, we are very proud that the Schweizer Sport Fernsehen channel is working in partnership with us. I am very happy for our team, our drivers and our main business partner AquaSP our team sponsor and our drivers to have reached this agreement after so much hard work.

Schweizer Sportfernsehen shows pretty impressive figures and popularity. Not only it is important for the team to raise its profile through strong and comprehensive media coverage, but I invite all A1GP World Cup of Motorsport fans to tune in to for the next Malaysian Grand Prix preview and review shows on Schweizer Sportfernsehen as well as the live broadcasts.

Mr. Pascal Jenny, CEO Schweizer Sportfernsehen : "Motorsport is part of a very important offer to the regular viewers at Schweizer Sportfernsehen. It is very lucky for the diversity and quality of our sports program to be able to broadcast and have access to such an international racing sport platmform supported by a global international vision.

On top, the viewers can identify to their country and cheer for the results of their country as well as live their emotions through.
