Radical Sportscars is pleased to announce Acqua Rossa Motorsport as its new dealer for Switzerland, continuing a global expansion for the manufacturer of the world’s most popular sports racing cars.

Located in canton Neuchâtel, Acqua Rossa Motorsport already has a combined 15 years’ experience running a range of Radical sportscars for an enthusiastic customer base.
Founded in 2016 by Nikki Schumann, Acqua Rossa Motorsport initially acquired a pair of Radical SR3s and ran them for its customers in track days and for driver tuition on a range of circuits across Europe.
Today, Acqua Rossa Motorsport supports over 20 Radicals, offering storage, maintenance and preparation, trackside support, spare parts supply, and second-hand vehicle sales. The business is focussed on promoting motorsport through the supply, rental and support of Radical sports racing cars, providing Swiss enthusiasts and owners a unique experience, assisting them to drive and race safely on the circuits of Europe.
Acqua Rossa Motorsport’s base is a short drive from Circuit de Lignières, the only racing circuit in Switzerland. The 1.35km circuit also features a driver training skidpad and off-road course, and is owned and operated by the Touring Club Suisse (TCS). The circuit was constructed in the 1960s with input from racing legends Jo Siffert and Clay Regazzoni and is a popular venue for supercar launches and driver training activities.
Acqua Rossa Motorsport is located within an easy drive of some of Europe’s most renowned circuits, including Dijon Prenois, Magny-Cours, Circuit de Bresse and Paul-Ricard.
The appointment of Acqua Rossa Motorsport is set to rapidly enhance the representation of the Radical brand in the region, giving Swiss track enthusiasts direct access to Radical’s famous range of sports racing cars, including the new turbocharged SR10.
Nikki Schumann, founder and director of Acqua Rossa Motorsport, is excited to begin this new era in partnership with Radical Sportscars.
“For several years now we’ve seen a tremendous opportunity for Radical sports racing cars in Switzerland, and we’re delighted to have been selected to become an official dealer.
“Acqua Rossa Motorsport was founded in 2016 around our passion for driving and racing Radical cars in Switzerland and throughout Europe, and we know from our own customer base that these cars are held in such high regard by many Swiss enthusiasts.
“We have big plans to develop the brand in Switzerland with a range of events and activities, both on track and off, and we can’t wait to show the latest Radical range to Swiss motorsport enthusiasts.”
Radical Sportscars Global Sales Director Dan Redpath is pleased to welcome Acqua Rossa Motorsport into Radical’s growing global network of dealers.
“Nikki and his team have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Radical brand, they already have good relationships with our spare parts and engineering teams due to the Radicals they’ve been running, and they’ve acted as powerful advocates for us and our vehicles since 2016,” Redpath said.
“In 2020 we enjoyed our most successful year yet, which also saw the launch of two exciting new models. The SR3XX brought the latest in data acquisition and onboard telemetry to the legendary SR3 platform. The SR10 followed hot on its heels, and with 425bhp and 380lb-ft of torque making it the most powerful SR-series Radical yet, is quickly gaining a fearsome reputation on racetracks around the world.

“It’s an exciting time for us as we continue to expand our global dealer network, and we’re delighted to now be working with Acqua Rossa Motorsport in an official capacity. All of us here at Radical Sportscars are very excited for the great contribution that Nikki and his team will surely bring to our continued expansion.”
Radical Sportscars Sales Operations Manager, EMEA, Ian King, added, “We are impressed with Nikki’s plans to grow the Radical brand in Switzerland, which includes keeping a demonstrator vehicle on display in the nearby Lemanic Arc area (Lake Geneva), and hosting a range of test and track days, participation in local shows and events, and partnerships with golf and country clubs.
“Sports racing cars are incredibly popular in Switzerland, and Acqua Rossa Motorsport is working towards a goal of organising the first single-make Radical Cup racing series in the region, replicating the Radical championships we see hosted by our dealers around the world.”
Radical Sportscars’ dealer network expansion has continued unabated over the past 12 months, and with 31 dealers across 21 countries globally, is the most successful franchise in motorsport. The appointment of Radical Switzerland follows the launch of Radical Australia East, Radical Benelux, and Radical Romania in the past six months alone, joining recent dealer recruitments in New York, Texas, New Zealand and Western Australia.
