The Golf GTI Clubsport, a limited edition anniversary model celebrating 40 Years of GTI, is now available in Dubai and the Northern Emirates starting from AED146,500.


On March 15, a select group of Golf GTI enthusiasts were offered an exclusive opportunity to secure one of 70 Limited Edition Clubsport models at an event in the Volkswagen showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road.


Thierry Seys, General Manager, Al Nabooda Automobiles, Volkswagen said, “The Clubsport is extremely limited, as a future collector’s edition. Our customers were the first in the region to get the chance to purchase one of a small number of this sporty, anniversary hot hatch, now available in the Middle East.


“The Golf GTI is a legendary compact sports car, renowned for precise handling and pure driving pleasure. With a boost function of up to 290 HP and dynamic looks, the new Clubsport will make its presence known on the streets of Dubai.”


The Golf GTI Clubsport boasts various refinements to the design, giving a more expressive look as well as improving the handling qualities of the car.


With an impressive output of 265 HP, the Clubsport has earned the title of the most powerful production GTI model to date. Additionally, the car offers a boost function, allowing the engine to reach a maximum of 290 HP for a short time.


The model’s rear spoiler gives the car a sporty aesthetic, adding an aerodynamic flow for the back end of the car allowing the driver to have tighter control around corners.


A new front bumper with lateral air inlets has given the car a sharper look, creating a design that really embraces a sporty look.

With leather-padded seats and an alcantara multifunction steering wheel with red stitching, the Clubsport represents the height of comfort and design.


The 40th Anniversary Edition: The Clubsport is available in limited numbers now at all Al Nabooda Automobiles showrooms in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
