World premiere: Rétromobile presents for its 40th edition a selection of prototypes and unique automobiles of the Lopresto collection


Rendez-vous of all the enthusiasts, curious or amateur of vintage cars, Rétromobile will present to the public, for the first time ever, the jewels of the golden age of the Italian coachwork - all One of has Kind - of the collection Corrado Lopresto.


This unique collection is presented here as a world first, giving visitors the opportunity to admire the results of Corrado Lopresto’s lifelong passion for beautiful cars.



Behind each prototype, a man



Milanese architect, Corrado Lopresto has spent his life tracking down and collecting prototypes and cars with unique coachwork. Since the age of 16, his passion for Italian auto design has enabled him to build up the only collection of its kind in the world. Whereas auto enthusiasts tend to focus on great classic cars, Corrado Lopresto is interested in coachbuilders and designers.


He feels that behind each prototype there’s a real person, and he makes it a point of honour to supervise the restoration of his precious cars, taking care to preserve as many original features as possible so as to respect the spirit of the designer.


Retromobile pays tribute to Lopresto, presenting a dozen cars from his collection that has earned over 180 awards in the most prestigious Concours d'Elégance (Pebble Beach, Villa d'Este, Amelia Island, Goodwood and Chantilly).


Among the jewels on show from the golden age of Italian coachwork will be the Lancia Florida prototype, the Giulietta prototype by Bertone and Pininfarina, the Lancia Sibilo, the Alfa 6C 1750 Aprile, the Aurelia B52 Vignale, the Autobianchi A112 Giovani by Pininfarina, the Lancia Flaminia Specile by Pininfarina, the Osca 1600 GT Touring, the Alfa Romeo Praho Touring, the Alfa Romeo 2500SS Bertone and the Alfa 2500 SS by Pininfarina.

Schedules: Wednesday 10am – 10pm, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 7pm, Friday: 10am – 10pm

Admission: Adults: 14€ when purchased in advance, 16 € at the gate. Free for children under 12.
