Jean-Philippe Parain, actuellement President & Belux CEO de BMW Group , succède à Nicolas Peter en tant que Senior Vice-President Sales Region Europe. Dr. Peter Henrich devient President & CEO de BMW Group Belux.



Suite à la nomination du Dr. Nicolas Peter au titre de membre du comité de direction de BMW AG en charge des finances, Jean-Philippe Parain, actuellement President & CEO de BMW Group Belux a été appelé à prendre la succession de ce dernier en tant que Senior Vice-President Sales Region Europe de BMW à partir du 1er janvier 2017.

 

Cette promotion intervient un peu plus de deux ans après que Jean-Philippe Parain ait repris avec succès la responsabilité des marchés belge et luxembourgeois. Sous sa direction, BMW Group Belux a accru sa part de marché tant en Belgique qu’au Luxembourg et a renforcé sa relation de partenariat avec son réseau de concessionnaires.



Jean-Philippe Parain avait déjà travaillé en Belgique entre 2008 et 2011, d’abord en tant que responsable régional des ventes pour Bruxelles et le Luxembourg avant de prendre la direction du marketing de BMW Belux en novembre 2009.



Il a ensuite rejoint le siège central de Munich où il a été responsable de la zone Europe Nord pour BMW avant de prendre la direction des ventes Europe de la marque MINI en tant que Head of MINI Europe. Agé de 43 ans et de nationalité française, Jean-Philippe Parain a commencé sa carrière au sein du département marketing de BMW France avant de travailler au quartier général de BMW à Munich au marketing puis à la direction régionale des importateurs de BMW Group.

 

Le successeur de Jean-Philippe Parain à la tête de la filiale belgo-luxembourgeoise à partir du 1er janvier 2017 est Dr. Peter Henrich. Ce dernier est bien connu au sein de la filiale BMW Group Belux puisqu’il y a déjà occupé la fonction de Directeur marketing de 2011 à fin 2014 lorsqu’il a remplacé Jean-Philippe Parain.



Peter Henrich, âgé de 42 ans, occupe depuis 2015 la fonction de responsable de la gestion des produits compacts de la marque BMW.




Il a rejoint BMW Group en 1999 où il a débuté au sein du département stratégie du réseau de production avant de rejoindre la gestion produit pour les BMW Série 1 et Série 3.




 Il a ensuite participé à la stratégie produits où il était en charge de la stratégie produit pour les grands Sports Activity Vehicle.

 

Dr. Peter Henrich a déclaré : « Je me réjouis de retrouver les marchés belge et luxembourgeois que j’ai appris à apprécier lorsque j’étais en charge du marketing BMW.



Le réseau de concessionnaires auto et moto y est particulièrement compétent et dynamique et j’ai la chance de savoir combien l’équipe du siège à Bornem est motivée ce qui me permettra de continuer sur le chemin du succès initié par Jean-Philippe Parain et ses prédécesseurs ».
