Neue AK-Studie: Auch Hybride verbrauchen auf der Straße viel mehr, als im Prospekt angegeben



In Österreich und Deutschland sind die Diesel-Abgase auf der politischen Agenda. „Doch was bisher auf den Diesel-Gipfeln keine Rolle gespielt hat, ist die dringend überfällige Kehrtwende in der Kundeninformation der Auto-Konzerne“, so AK Experte Franz Greil.



Eine neue Studie des österreichischen Umweltbundesamtes im Auftrag der AK Wien zeigt: Nach wie vor klaffen die Angaben der Autohersteller zu Kohlendioxid-Ausstoß mit den Werten im Realbetrieb auf der Straße weit auseinander.



Wer einen Hybrid fährt, wird noch mehr getäuscht:  Die in der AK-Studie festgestellten Werte im Realbetrieb klaffen gegenüber den Herstellerangaben bei Hybriden um rund 50 Prozent und bei Plug-in-Hybriden sogar um rund 150 Prozent auseinander.



„Seit 2014 haben die meisten Autohersteller nichts gelernt. Da hilft nur viel öffentlicher Druck und die konsequente Umsetzung der neuen Prüfverfahren ab Herbst. Und diese Prüfverfahren müssen laufend verbessert werden“, so AK Verkehrsexperte Franz Greil. Mit den neuen EU-weiten Prüfverfahren, die es ab Herbst geben wird, muss zwar realistischer getestet werden.



Nach wie vor aber müssen diese realistischen Testergebnisse den AutofahrerInnen nicht zwingend mitgeteilt werden. Bislang ist nur die Veröffentlichung der Laborergebnisse Pflicht.



Diese sind mit realen Bedingungen auf der Straße oft nicht vergleichbar. „Wir brauchen dringend eine Pflicht zur konsumentenfreundlichen Veröffentlichung der Abgaswerte im Realverbrauch. Hier muss die EU unbedingt nachbessern.“ 
 




 Abgaswerte sind für die Autokäuferinnen und Autokäufer wichtige Kaufargumente.




Unrealistische Angaben bei den Kohlendioxid-Werten bedeuten auch: Der Spritverbrauch liegt im Realbetrieb weit höher als es die Hersteller angeben. Das sorgt nicht nur für schlechte Luft in den Ballungsgebieten und an viel befahrenen Straßen.



Das kostet die AutofahrerInnen auch viel Geld: Ein Auto, das auf 100 Kilometern laut Herstellerangaben rund 4 Liter Diesel verbraucht, benötigt im Realbetrieb 5,7 Liter Diesel und verursacht damit im Jahr durchschnittlich rund 194 Euro mehr an Spritkosten. 
 




Die Studienergebnisse:



Bis 2014 lagen Kohlendioxid-Werte im Realverbrauch bei Pkw im Schnitt um über 30 Prozent über den Herstellerangaben. Bei einzelnen Modellen wie etwa dem Citroen C4 Picasso waren es sogar über 46 Prozent. Zwei Jahre später ist die Abweichung im Durchschnitt auf über 39 Prozent angewachsen, beim Audi A4 8W sogar um über 58 Prozent.
 


Große Abweichungen von durchschnittlich 43 Prozent stellten die ExpertInnen vom Umweltbundesamt bei Dieselfahrzeugen fest, den in Österreich beliebtesten Pkw.
 


Bei Hybridfahrzeugen waren die Abweichungen sogar dramatisch höher als bei Autos, die nur mit Verbrennungsmotor fahren: Um 54 Prozent bei Hybridfahrzeugen (Toyota Yaris 1,5), um sogar über 147 Prozent bei sogenannten „Plug-in-Hybriden“ (BMW X5 XDrive 40 E F15), die auch per Stromtankstelle aufgetankt werden können und als besonders umweltfreundlich gelten.
 

„Von selbst bewegt sich die Autoindustrie in die falsche Richtung: Da muss noch viel mehr öffentlicher Druck her“, sagt AK Experte Franz Greil. Eine rühmliche Ausnahme ist der PSA-Konzern (Peugeot/Citroen): Dort werden die Ergebnisse der realistischen Verbrauchs- und Abgastests auf der Straße und im Labor allen Interessierten im Internet zugänglich gemacht. „Das ist der richtige Weg. Autohersteller sind ihren Kundinnen und Kunden hier viel mehr Offenheit schuldig“, so Greil.
 



Die AK fordert:



+ Mit den neuen EU-weiten Prüfverfahren, die es ab Herbst geben wird, muss zwar realistischer getestet werden. Nach wie vor aber müssen diese realistischen Testergebnisse den AutofahrerInnen nicht zwingend mitgeteilt werden. Bislang ist nur die Veröffentlichung der Laborergebnisse Pflicht. Diese sind mit realen Bedingungen auf der Straße oft nicht vergleichbar. Die AK fordert eine Pflicht zur konsumentenfreundlichen Veröffentlichung der Abgaswerte im Realverbrauch. 



+ Die EU-weiten Prüfverfahren müssen laufend aktualisiert werden. Für Hybridmotoren braucht es eigene Prüfkriterien, die auch den Abgasausstoß im Realverbrauch leicht nachvollziehbar wiedergeben.  



+ Die Autoindustrie muss ihre KundInnen fair informieren. Aber am Ende geht es aber darum, dass sie sauberere Autos anbieten. Das geht offensichtlich nur durch mehr öffentlichen Druck auf Basis realistischer Abgas- und Verbrauchsdaten.
