La 21ème édition de l'International Motor Show de Luxembourg ouvrira ses portes ce 14 décembre de 13h00 à 20h00, ce samedi 15 décembre de 10h00 à 20h00 et ce dimanche 16 décembre de 10h00 à 19h00.
L'événement se déroule dans les halls de Luxexpo/The Box sur le plateau du Kirchberg à Luxembourg.
Tarif : 17 euros pour les adultes de plus de 18 ans, 14 euros pour les jeunes de 8 à 17 ans et c'est gratuit pour les enfants de 0 à 7 ans.

La 21ème édition de l'International Motor Show de Luxembourg ouvrira ses portes ce week-end des 14, 15 et 16 décembre dans les halls de LuxExpo/The Box. Une nouvelle édition marquante à plus d'un titre avec quelques expositions dont la manifestation a le secret...
Les 70 ans de Lotus Sport et compétition...
Colin Chapman a construit sa première voiture en 1948. Sur une base d'Austin 7 il crée ainsi la Lotus MK1 et l'engage directement en compétition. On sait que s'en suivra une glorieuse épopée construite autour de nombreuses stars du volant. Les modèles légendaires se succèdent... sur les circuits et sur la route avec des modèles sportifs hors du commun.
L'histoire des Classes Moyennes
les Grand-Prix en 250cc, 350cc et Moto2...
Les Grand-Prix de vitesse pure moto ont de tous temps rassemblé différentes catégories. Parmi celles-ci, les moyennes cylindrées ont écrit quelques pages d'histoires spectaculaires avec ses champions emblématiques, ses défis technologiques, etc... De 1949 à 2018, toutes les importantes étapes seront évoquées à l'International Motor Show de Luxembourg.
La Ford Escort a 50 ans
En 1968, la mythique Escort montrait le bout de ses phares pour la première fois. Très rapidement, Ford la lance dans le grand bain de la compétition avec un succès certain... qui ne s'est jamais démenti puisqu'encore maintenant, elle fait la joie des spectateurs dans les rallyes classiques.
50 ans de collaboration avec Peugeot/Citroën...
Voici 50 ans que la groupe pétrolier Total participe aux succès de Peugeot et Citroën en Championnat du Monde de Rallye ou sur tous les circuits du Monde. Une telle réussite ne passe pas inaperçue et mérite bien une évocation au travers d'une exposition de quelques bolides emblématiques de différentes périodes...
Le Racing En haut des podiums...
Comme le veut la tradition, une large place est consacrée à la compétition au coeur même du Motor Show de Luxembourg. Cette 21ème édition, permettra donc aux visiteurs d'approcher des voitures et des motos qui s'expriment habituellement sur les circuits, dans les rallyes, sur les tracés de courses de côte ou encore sur les pistes de Rallye Raid...
- La Ford Fiesta WRC des Champions du Monde 2018 Ogier/Ingrassia sera bien en vue sur le stand du Garage Paul Wengler !
- La carrière de Bruno Thiry et de ses co-pilotes sera ainsi célébrée avec quelques-unes des voitures qu'ils ont conduites vers la victoire.
- Dylan Pereira, le pilote luxembourgeois qui brille en Porsche Cup, accueillera ses fans auprès de sa voiture durant tout le week-end.
- Le Fan Club Luxembourgeois de Walter Röhrl a rassemblé une nouvelle fois une belle collection de bolides ayant marqué la carrière du Champion Allemand.
- Et beaucoup d'autres très belles surprises !
Les Classiques Sur deux et quatres roues...
Les anciennes gardent une place de choix à l'International Motor Show... Parmi celles-ci, épinglons la présence de l'incontournable Arthur Bechtel Classic Motors qui présentera 4 Mercedes-Benz de collection exceptionnelles ou encore, dans un tout autre style, une partie du patrimoine de la Collection Thiry à Habay avec une dizaine d'anciennes motos d'origine allemande de 1914 à 1968. Beaucoup de belles surprises sur ces expositions.
C'est familial...
Une des particularités de ce week-end à Luxexpo/The Box est l'aspect familial de l'événement. Les petits et les grands enfants y trouvent leur bonheur... avec les voitures électriques réservées aux plus petits, dans un espace sécurisé. Ou encore grâce aux différents shows et baptèmes de Drift et leurs voitures de plus de 500cv. Mais aussi sur la piste de Trial XTrem audacieusement animé par l'Italien Samuele Zuccali. Un large espace est réservé aux modèles réduits et aux animations qui y sont attachées de même que des simulateurs de pilotage pour expérimenter vos talents.
Le Top Tuning Show
Un large panel de ce qui se fait de mieux dans le milieu du Tuning se rassemble au Motor Show pour le plus grand plaisir des amateurs du genre. Un style sans cesse renouvelé.
Custom et Café-Racers
Dans un autre genre et un autre art de vivre, les créateurs/transformateurs de motos vous feront découvrir leurs constructions originales dans le Hall7. Café-Racers, Custom et autres Choppers ne manqueront pas de vous interpeller.
