Die zweite in einer Reihe von Stationen in Zusammenarbeit mit Van der Valk
Fastned, welches ein europäisches Netzwerk an Schnellladestationen baut, eröffnet heute eine Schnellladestation am Van der Valk Hotel Melle-Osnabrück an der A30. Dies ist die zweite Station von Fastned an einem Van der Valk Hotel und Teil einer Kooperation um gemeinsam weitere Stationen in Deutschland zu realisieren.
Die Fastned Schnellladestation in Melle-Osnabrück hat einen 50 kW und einen 175 kW Schnelllader. Dies erlaubt den Kunden, hier bis zu 50 Mal schneller als Zuhause und mit 100% erneuerbarer Energie zu laden.
Die Van der Valk Hotels befinden sich an Hauptverkehrsstraßen und sind daher ein angenehmer und logischer Ort zum Laden eines Elektroautos. Fastned verfolgt das Ziel, ein europäisches Netzwerk von 1.000 Schnellladestationen zu bauen, davon mehrere Hundert in Deutschland. Derzeit hat Fastned 88 Stationen in Betrieb, davon 10 Stationen in Deutschland. Hinzu kommen noch weitere Stationen, die sich derzeit im Bau befinden - so auch einige an Van der Valk Hotels. Mit diesem Netzwerk möchte Fastned den Fahrern von Elektrofahrzeugen die Freiheit geben, durch ganz Europa zu reisen.
Michiel Langezaal, Geschäftsführer von Fastned: "Wir stellen einen steigenden Bedarf an Schnellladedienstleistungen entlang der Hauptverkehrsstraßen fest. Erschwinglichere Elektrofahrzeuge mit einer größeren Batterie und mehr Reichweite kommen auf den Markt. Dies macht es möglich, längere Strecken zu fahren, aber erfordert auf der anderen Seite auch Schnellladeinfrastruktur, mit der man diese Fahrzeuge zügig laden kann. Daher freuen wir uns sehr, den Fahrern von Elektroautos gemeinsam mit Van der Valk diesen nützlichen Service anbieten zu können.”

Bei Fastned können alle voll elektrischen Autos superschnell mit 100% erneuerbarer Energie laden. Laden und bezahlen kann man mit der Fastned-App, mit Ladekarten oder sogar ganz automatisch mittels Autocharge. Die Fahrer von Elektrofahrzeugen können fast jede Ladekarte, ein Bankkonto oder eine Kreditkarte zum bezahlen verwenden.
