Anyone who wanted to drive an innovative BMW i3 with alternative drive had to do this without sporty accents. This is now changing: the Aachen tuning experts from AC Schnitzer have developed a tuning program for the BMW i3 models which optimises the electrifying city cars visually but above all in terms of driving dynamics.



During the development of the AC Schnitzer special accessories range, the designers and engineers have turned a few essential adjusting screws and thus unmistakably shaped the character of the vehicles.



The i3 models with the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit are noticeably closer to the ground. By lowering them by up to 20 mm, the i3 models can also fully convert their energy in curves and the centre of gravity of the vehicle is lowered.
 
 
 


The AC Schnitzer range also includes matching and brand new wheel spacers for the i3s. On the one hand, it is possible to continue using the standard wheels, but at the same time they ensure that the wheels are positioned 12 mm further out on each side. This improves the lateral support and increases driving stability. The i3s looks much more powerful and sporty with the wheel spacers.



The aerodynamics kit for all i3 includes an AC Schnitzer front splitter and a roof rear wing. Both special parts can be installed directly and without further painting.



The front splitter made of high-quality ASA material (acrylonitrile styrene acrylic ester) with a matt black surface is supplied together with three shiny black painted adaptors made of PUR (polyurethane). These also create a visual link between the standard front apron and the front splitter. The roof rear wing made of PUR is also painted in glossy black to match.



The aerodynamic components improve the downforce on the front and rear, reinforce the lines of the base vehicle and make the i3 models look much more striking. The AC Schnitzer rear skirt protection foil for the boot sill and the AC Schnitzer lettering on the sides complete the aerodynamics range.


The interior of the i3 models receives a few high-quality aluminium highlights from the AC Schnitzer pedals and the "Black Line" cover for the iDrive System Controller.
