Morgan takes action to support its customers, many of whom have been unable to drive their car during restrictions on driving imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic
Industry-leading three-month extension of full manufacturer cover aims to provide reassurance to Morgan’s loyal customer base
Any Morgan worldwide with a warranty start date between 1 October 2017 and 31 May 2020 is eligible for the additional cover

The Morgan Motor Company is continuing its proactive response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the announcement of an extension to the warranty period on its vehicles. The additional three months of the full manufacturer warranty – one of the strongest responses of any car manufacturer – applies to any Morgan with a warranty start date from 1 October 2017 and extends to any car registered until 31 May 2020.
The initiative comes as governments apply ‘lockdown’ restrictions limiting the use for vehicles other than for essential purposes, and temporarily forcing the closure of some Morgan Dealerships, in order to slow the spread of the virus. Morgan recognises that its customers may not be able enjoy driving their 4/4, Plus 4, Roadster, Plus Six, Aero or 3 Wheeler during this time, or have service work on it undertaken, but firmly believes that the enjoyment of their cars should not be impacted by the global situation.
Customers are being contacted by Morgan Motor Company and its dealer network directly to alert them of the offer. In addition, customers can register for the warranty extension by sending an email directly to warranty@morgan-motor.co.uk
Marcus Blake, Chief Sales Officer at Morgan Motor Company, said: “We’d like to send our wishes of support to anyone who has been affected by COVD-19 and thank all those that have been following guidelines and doing the right thing. For Morgan owners, we want to make a gesture that will take away one small concern, by offering a three-month extension to their warranties.
We know that their sports cars may not be at the forefront of their minds at this time, but we hope that by offering this support, our Morgan customers will be in the best possible position to continue to enjoy their cars on the open roads when circumstances allow.”
