New R.S. Line and SE Limited versions join existing Play, Iconic and S Edition Captur models

The Captur range gets a sporting edge with the addition of dynamic new R.S. Line version

Inspired by motorsport, the new R.S. Line trim level boasts a range of sporty exterior and interior enhancements

R.S. Line is available with advanced E-Tech plug-in hybrid powertrain, offering up to 31 miles of electric driving

SE Limited models feature unique exterior design elements including new alloy wheels and contrasting roof

Engine options now include the efficient TCe 90 and TCe 140 petrols, available with manual or automatic gearboxes

The Captur SE Limited is available from £20,300 OTR, or £229 per month with 0% APR PCP Finance*

The Captur R.S. Line is priced from £23,800 OTR, or £269 per month with 0% APR PCP Finance*

Orders for both models are open now

Renault has further enhanced the appeal of the popular Captur crossover with the addition of two new versions – the dynamic R.S. Line and value-packed SE Limited. Available for the first time on the Captur, the R.S. Line and SE Limited specifications join existing Play, Iconic and S Edition models, powered by a range of efficient TCe petrol and advanced E-Tech powertrains.

Similar to the striking R.S. Line versions of the popular Clio and Mégane, the Captur R.S. Line offers dynamic design inside and out, bringing a more athletic edge and more choice than ever to Captur customers looking to blend greater kerb appeal with the Captur’s attractive characteristics of practicality, efficiency, superior quality and technology.

The Captur SE Limited has been introduced bridging the gap between Play and Iconic trims, with an enhanced level of specification featuring unique exterior design elements delivering added appeal for customers, bolstered by the latest connectivity technology.

Captur R.S. Line

A selection of key design enhancements have been made to the exterior of the Captur R.S. Line to give it a distinguished identity, befitting of its place at the top of the range. Inspired by motorsport, the R.S. Line’s front-end features a Formula One-style front blade low down on the more muscular bumper and finished in contrasting grey, complemented by a honeycomb grille and the striking standard-fit LED front headlamps with distinctive C-shaped signature also echoed in the 3D-effect rear lights.

Elsewhere, a grey rear air diffuser, extra tinted rear windows, R.S. Line badges on the wing and tailgate, unique chrome side trim details and distinctive 18-inch ‘Le Castellet’ alloy wheels complete the athletic new look for greater presence on the road, finished off by the double chromed tailpipe elements and two-tone exterior paint with contrasting roof.

The sportier elements continue to the cabin, starting with aluminium door sills that are reminiscent of Renault Sport’s heritage and most engaging models. Red stitching and red stripe details are found on the seats with R.S. Line-specific upholstery, while the perforated leather steering wheel features red and grey stitching.

Continuing this theme, red trim detail runs across the width of the cabin through the slim air vents, set off by the carbon finish on the dashboard and black interior roof lining. Aluminium pedals, a frameless rear-view mirror and flying console with e-shifter (on automatic versions) complete the interior enhancements.

The Captur R.S. Line features a generous level of standard equipment to make the experience more engaging, more comfortable and more convenient. The latest 9.3-inch EASY LINK media display comes as standard, giving access to all car functions via a slick, responsive portrait touchscreen. The EASY LINK system features Bluetooth, DAB and USB connectivity, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.

All R.S. Line models also benefit from the standard equipment from Captur S Edition, including handsfree keycard with keyless entry and start, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, automatic air conditioning, automatic lights and wipers, sliding rear bench, modular boot floor and MULTI-SENSE driving modes with eight ambient lighting colours.

Ensuring the safest driving experience, a full suite of active safety systems is also standard-fit, including Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Active Emergency Braking System (AEBS) and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Captur SE Limited

The Captur SE Limited – another new model available for the first time in the Captur range – sits between entry-level Play and Iconic models offering customers a unique exterior and enhanced interior specification for an enticing new proposition.

On the outside, SE Limited models benefit from two-tone paint with a contrasting black roof as standard, while 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and privacy glass bring an extra touch of sophistication for style-conscious customers, enhancing the Captur’s proportions and athletic design. ‘LIMITED’ badges on the front wings ensure it stands out.

Drivers are greeted by ‘LIMITED’ badges on the door sills, while SE Limited models also feature grey cloth upholstery specific to the new trim level. Building on the Captur Play, SE Limited models come with 7.0-inch EASY LINK touchscreen infotainment system offering navigation, live traffic information and Google search capability on top of the usual DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

The Captur SE Limited is also fitted with Traffic Sign Recognition with overspeed prevention, on top of the extensive level of standard equipment available across the Captur range. All models come with automatic full LED headlights, rear parking sensors, Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, climate control, cruise control with speed limiter and handsfree key card.

Subtle improvements have also been made across the rest of the Captur line-up. Entry-level Play specification now features rear parking sensors as standard, while Iconic models get automatic high and low beam and C-shaped LED lighting signature with 3D-effect rear lights at no extra cost, delivering greater value and an even sharper look. Additionally, S Edition is now equipped as standard with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels giving enhanced visual appeal.

Powertrains and driving

Powering the Captur R.S. Line is the latest range of efficient powertrains, including the advanced E-Tech plug-in hybrid offering up to 31 miles of zero tailpipe-emissions, electric-only driving, up to 188.3mpg and as little as 34g/km in CO2 emissions.

The E-Tech powertrain is available alongside two updated petrol options, a TCe 90 and TCe 140. The TCe 140 features 12V

mild-hybrid technology, bringing electrification to a wider range of Captur models for enhanced responses and superior economy. This engine is also available with a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed EDC automatic transmissions, while the TCe 90 use a six-speed manual transmission.

Captur SE Limited customers can choose between the TCe 90 fitted with a manual transmission or TCe 140 with EDC automatic transmission.

The new Captur R.S. Line and SE Limited models are available to order now, with customer deliveries available now for Captur SE Limited and August for Captur R.S. Line. The Captur SE Limited is available for £229 per month, while the R.S. Line is available for £269 per month*.
