Collecting Cars today announces the debut of an extremely rare, low-mileage 1991 Alfa Romeo SZ on its U.S. Auction platform. Global bididng will run through Wednesday, November 3.

One of just 1,036 examples built by the legendary Italian automaker, this SZ (Spring Zagato) is powered by a 210hp naturally aspirated 3.0-liter Busso V6, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.



Recently imported to the U.S. from Japan, this SZ features an extensive list of factory equipment, including a revised version of the uniball joint setup found on the Alfa Romeo 75 Group A / IMSA racing cars, complemented by Koni adjustable shock absorbers. There is also a heated rear screen, electric windows, and air conditioning.



The spacious two-seater offers ample room behind the passengers for more luggage, while its dramatically styled body panels were fabricated from molded composite.



It rides on its original 16-inch split-rim alloy wheels which are wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact sport tires.
