Casey Carden Motorsports is founded and lead by team principal Casey Carden. Carden has a dense motorsports background. As a driver Carden won two karting championships before competing in SCCA Formula Car competition where he won many races.
From there, Carden transitioned into professional sportscar racing where he stood on the podium in the Playboy MX-5 Cup Series, had top 5 finishes in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series and drove a Porsche 997 in it’s last professional race in the United States.
Carden began instructing for Skip Barber Racing School in 2008 and eventually become the Chief Instructor and Director of Competition for the world’s largest racing school. Currently Carden still instructs for the Porsche Sport Driving School.
Carden spent his early days working for race teams led by well respected team managers such as Mike Johnson and Dick Barbour. Carden helped launch the US Formula 4 Series under the guidance of Derrick Walker and Chip Robinson.
Casey Carden Motorsports - The Crew
Casey Carden Motorsports employs Charles Carden as it’s full time Technical Director. The father of Casey, he provided guidance in Casey’s early career while serving as the second longest tenured Lamborghini Technician in the United States.
He also spent time as a fabricator and chassis builder for IMSA teams in the 1980s. The rest of the crew is composed of top notch highly skilled racing mechanics on the weekends. Recent mechanics have used Casey Carden Motorsports to climb the ladder to work for Andretti Autosport, Riley Technologies and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Motorsports.

2018: The team is currently fielding MX-5s and Miatas in the American Endurance Racing Series and World Racing League, and SCCA. To date the team has amassed 14 wins and 4 additional podium finishes.
2017: The team competed in 37 races with Miatas, capturing 8 wins, 19 podiums and 25 top 5s. Additionally in the 37 races the team only dropped out of two races with mechanical related issues.
2016: The team launched it’s on Miata endurance program, taking a class win at the 13 hours of VIR as well as a class win in the American Road Race of Champions 3 hour endurance race. The team also contested a limited number of HSR events bringing home a win at the Mitty.
2015: The team contested the SCCA Southern Atlantic Road Racing Championship with a Crossle Club Ford winning 6 times. The team also won a 14 hour endurance race with a customer owned Miata at Road Atlanta.
2014: The team contested the SCCA Southern Atlantic Road Racing Championship with a Crossle Club Ford delivering 2 wins and 7 podium finishes.
