|
Efacec was the company chosen by Société Monégasque de l’Electricité et du Gaz (SMEG) to design and install an ultra-fast charger in the Principality, more specifically at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. This high-power charger, with 160 kW power level, is prepared to charge EV with battery voltages up to 920 V and is designed to serve both long-range and normal range EV.

Electric mobility is a strong focus of the Principality of Monaco, which has implemented several initiatives that show an increasing enthusiasm for this form of mobility and highlight its economic and environmental benefits.
“Efacec is very proud to provide an ultra-fast charger, for the first time, to such a prestigious place as the famous Monte-Carlo Bay resort. We are also very hopeful to start a big partnership with SMEG to deploy this service in Monaco”, says Ângelo Ramalho, CEO of Efacec.
A new service in town
The ultra-fast charger that Efacec installed in Monaco is similar to so many others that the company has installed and is currently installing in several geographies worldwide.
The HV family is the most powerful and fastest chargers in the world, capable of charging a battery of an EV in a few minutes, charging 100km in less than five minutes.
Efacec actively participates in the largest markets for electric mobility, especially in Europe and the United States but also focuses on other markets such as Asia, Latin America and Oceania, leading the sector in some countries in the regions.
With a comprehensive presence in the value chain of Energy, Mobility and Environment, Efacec acts as a solution provider, EPC contractor (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and O&M service partner. Efacec is present in strategic markets such as Europe, the United States of America, Latin America, Asia, Middle East, Maghreb and Southern Africa.
