The International Formula Master hit the track at Bands Hatch this weekend, running the fifth round of 2008. In the series` British weekend, Trident Racing capitalized only a part of the potential seen on-track. Drivers qualified well on the long configuration of the racetrack: Kasper Andersen took 4th place, just 3 spots in front of Harald Schlegelmilch, while Alejandro Núñez struggled on Row 11.

Race 1 started in an extremely unfortunate manner, as Andersen was forced to retire during the formation lap with halfshaft issues. Schlegelmilch had no better luck: after climbing up to third an aero deviator, damaged in a previous contact, detached and punctured a tire, sending the Latvian off-track. It was just Núñez to see checkered, taking 12th place at the end of an effective comeback.

On Race 2, Harald emerged as an absolute protagonist: starting drom 14th, he started passing other cars, climbing up to 2nd. While dueling with Mancinelli, he lost ground, but promptly recovered, passing championship leader Van Der Drift and bringing up the challenge again. He eventually ended up in 4th after another small contact.

Alejandro was fast too, coming back once again to score points in 7th, while Kasper tried a tough effort to be back at the top from 24th, but had to surrender to a contact with Tor Graves that broke the front wing.

Alesando Alunni Bravi, Managing Director

"It`s tough to make a balance today, after watching the most beautiful and incredible race of the season, maybe not only of the F.Master season. Harald was great: he started from the 14th spot on Race 2 and completed ten passes with success. He even moved on championship leader Chris Van Der Drift on the outside turn 2, and then again at turn 5.

Unfortunately, a couple of laps later, he lost what would have been a really deserved place on the podium due to a contact, ending up in 4th. He gave though a huge demonstration of his talent. Núñez` run was great too, after recovering from a terrible 21st place in qualifying, while the weekend of Kasper Andersen was conditioned by the broken halfshaft at the beginning of Race 1.

I want to thank also the team for the huge job made on a virtually unknown track. Hats down to engineers Alessi, Ficca and Versari".
