Mario on Qualifying: "I am very happy with our result today. I think this is the first time in my career that I have been so happy to be 24th. However, we are from satisfied and we still have a lot of work to do. We definitely are making improvements to the Visit Mexico City Car and I am looking forward to the race tomorrow."
Tyler Tadevic, Team Owner: "Another good day at the racetrack for PCM. The crew did a great job like they always do. We are very happy to move just a little bit up the ladder.
Qualifying does not make the race, but it is still an improvement, one step at a time here. We finally found some speed in car. Our plan for race is to stay out of trouble and finish with all four wheels on the car and get the best result we can.
We’ll then head back home to our families and get back to our shop and build up the spare car before we head to Iowa. I am proud of the work Mario and the Engineers are doing."
Mario’s Mexico City Travel Tip: "When visiting Mexico City, you must check out Constitution Square at Zocalo. That is where we have the National palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This is the largest square in the Western Hemisphere and the third largest square in the world after Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing and Red Square in Moscow.
Each day the army has a flag ceremony and it is very nice to watch. The best place to watch this from is the Metropolitan Cathedral. When you visit Mexico City, make sure you visit Zocalo."
