We are team-mates and we are very proud to be 1-2 again, the seventh time of the season. It is also the first time that I won six races in the same season.


At the start I tried to pull way as quickly as possible but I did not have the launch sequence.


It never happened to me ever so I did not know what to do I chose a different way because I did not know how to handle. But the car felt good. When I got close to Nico on th older tires it was difficult I was pushing to overtake and that opens doors to everything.  I had to be prepared for the unexpected. I did not crash in the first corner I did not crush in any one. I do not know what m original problem was for the launch of the car.


I just made sure I could recover and I hope the team will be able to investigate the problem and make sure that it does not happen anymore. I am in good shape. I have a positive attitude.


Hoping for no issues. I am really still looking forward to one of these week-ends. I had the pace over everyone. I am happy to be in the front. I am strong to be ahead. My engineer is in contact with me. My engineer is telling me and guide me to what they think I am the one out on the track and the calculation I have also gone through difficult times here .


Over the years, I have got to love Monza There is nowhere in the season where you see the straight full of fans and that is fantastic here and creates the atmosphere. In fact I came to do a job and I did it. It is great The tires worked well. The one-stop strategy worked wel. There is one risk is if you lock up..


Convert to two stops make it too slow…I did not have a lot of problems. As soon as Nico pitted I did not have any problems anymore The track was easy.

Turn one was difficult. It did not work out today. Lewis deserves the win – a great race today – a lot of emotion today. It is great 2nd place is excellent. It is great for the tifosi. It has helped me to see their happiness It was not my mistake …Lewis was quick coming from behind. I had to level up and I did not It was disappointing. It is great for the team.


It is a first one-two since a long time. So it is awesome. I am second and the team deserves a one-two . the first one since Austria.


Monza is low downforces an hightest speed of the calender. Te Spa is behind me. I put it behind me before the week-end. Just I made a mistake because Lewis was quicker. There is no point to put your mouth or head down. To be one-two is not a disaster.


I know I lost a few seconds. Traffic was also a cause of the process. But there were no specific problems. I was fighting through the field.I was fighting and I did a good job. I had brake problems towards the end. We just had to manage it. But the opening of the brake duck make you loose a bit of aerodynamics. It was the feature of this race We had a bit degradation but nothing special.


One stop is easier to understand.

There is no better place to be on the podium than Monza. I am so happy to be there. It is a great podium to be on this podium for the first time of the season. From now to the last race we will be fighting all the time. Thank you – you are the best.


It is so special to be here in Italia for team Williams on the podium. Just an incredible feeling. It was a really important and a great result for the team. A great race and the team will be really happy Just wonderful to be in Italy I am pleased to have place my team third in the championship.


The base of the car was very good and we had a great car. We missed a bit during the season. It is special to be on the podium. Very positive that we passed Ferrari. It is important for us.


We are fighting with big teams and it is good for for the team. I am so happy to be on the podkium here in this amazing place that I love.


Podium today without Ferrari and without Kimi…is a great result. I always fight. It is a fight with my ex-team. I m trying to be ahead of m ex-team.Now I fight not only Ferrari and my ex-team but all teams. Today our message is that we are competitive and fighting. We  have to be fighting in front and ahead of all teams The first stop was strategy for tires. The tires worked pretty well.


I was suffering a bit more at the end of the sting with the medium. But it will be difficult to beat Mercedes in Singapore. It is the track that is more negative thn the other for Williams.


If we can beat Mercedes, it is great.
