Sebastien Loeb has crashed out of the lead of the Jordan Rally in the most bizarre circumstances.
Loeb was involved in a head-on accident with fellow Citroen C4 WRC driver Conrad Rautenbach on a road section close to SS11.

The Finn’s Suzuki SX4 WRC stopped 5km into the third stage of the day, the 11km Mount Nebo test. He had been in tenth place overall. His retirement came shortly after the exit of his team-mate Per-Gunnar Andersson.

It’s a strange surface in Rally Jordan, almost like tarmac it’s so hard but not with the grip of tarmac. It’s not going to clean very fast, and I think will be dirty like gravel for a long time. It’s so hard, I mean it’s like concrete, yet it’s still quite slippery more >> |
