Les pilotes des GPO sont des fidèles de la Fondation Julie Tonelli pour l'Enfance, on le savait, mais leur ferveur a atteint des sommets pour la dernière épreuve de l'année disputée près de Lyon sur le circuit de Saint Laurent de Mûre. En quantité tout d'abord, près de la moitié du plateau arborait les autocollants roses de la Fondation. En qualité ensuite, les 3 Champions nouvellement consacrés, Pascal Belmaaziz en KF3, Sébastien Bailly en KF2 et Norman Nato en KZ2, sont assidus des papillons Julie Tonelli.
Confirmation en KZ2
Norman Nato (Intrepid/TM) a parfaitement assumé son rôle de favori du championnat. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi/TM) a fourni l'effort attendu pour devenir vice-champion. Clément Da Silva (Intrepid/TM) a fait des étincelles dans le sillage de Nato et récolte ainsi la 4ème place au championnat. Eric Ramon (Sodi/TM) a dû encore faire face à une malchance tenace qui le classe 5ème. Le bouillant Pierre Etienne Chaumat (Energy/Maxter) a démontré qu'il ne craignait pas grand monde en vitesse pure. Pierre Ragues (Sodi/TM) continue à se faire plaisir en karting où il pointe souvent dans le top 5.
Mathias Gallepe (Sodi/Maxter) connaît une série noire depuis quelques courses, mais boucle tout de même sa saison en 9ème place. La belle performance globale de William Benedetti (CRG/Maxter) se conclut à la 5ème position de la finale. Tristan Papavoine (Birel/TM) a encore réalisé de belles choses en terminant notamment 8ème samedi après une remontée de 12 places. À noter la participation de Michael Albert, Romain Errani, Nicolas Harmuth, Maxime Roy, Georges Bessière et Alexandre Arrue.
Finale décisive en KF2
Sébastien Bailly n'a pas eu la tâche facile à Lyon, ralenti par une panne et un accrochage. Il a dû cravacher pour revenir en 2ème position dans la dernière finale et décrocher ainsi le titre national devant un Loïc Réguillon (Sodi/Parilla) très en verve et vainqueur de la course. Avec ses victoires en préfinale et finale samedi, Guillaume De Ridder (Kosmic/Vortex) termine en 3ème position.
Jolie fin de parcours pour Clément Bluy (Tony Kart/Vortex), associant brillamment vitesse et régularité. Vincent Fraïsse (Intrepid/TM) a confirmé qu'il était désormais un client sérieux pour la victoire, mais une chaîne cassée a stoppé son élan dimanche. Performances intéressantes pour Jeoffrey Rouchy et bonne progression pour Andrick Zeen.
Haute pression en KF3
Pascal Belmaaziz (Intrepid/TM) aura été l'homme fort du meeting avec un sans faute et 3 victoires qui lui offrent le titre de Champion de France au détriment d'Alex Baron (Tony Kart/Vortex) qui n'a pas pu faire étalage de son talent comme d'ordinaire. Pierre Gasly (Sodi/Parilla) a donné le maximum sans être mieux récompensé que par la 3ème place au championnat. Anthoine Hubert (Tony Kart/Vortex) confirme son coup d'éclat d'Ostricourt en terminant 3 fois à la seconde place.
3ème de la Monaco Kart Cup, Rémy Deguffroy (Tony Kart/Vortex) termine ici 4ème de la finale. Nicolas Gonzalès (Mirage/Parilla) a enchaîné les performances dans le top 5. Belle attaque pour Michael Heche et Erine Ferrari, belle régularité pour Adrien Leidinger et bonne adaptation pour Nolan Mantione.
Trophée de France, catégorie Nationale
Pierre Hivert (V-Max) termine 2ème, Alexandre Anstett (Tony Kart) 6ème, Florian Boucheron (Intrepid) 8ème, Alice Colin (Tony Kart) 10ème, Guillaume Py (Intrepid) 13ème et Brice Zyto (CRG) 18ème.
