Once more, CRG was pretty well represented at the 13th "Supernationals" in Las Vegas. Held in the Rio Hotel huge parking lot, this major event in the North American calendar confirmed the excellent integration of CRG chassis in the local karting environment. As many as 74 drivers took the Italian brand's colours to Nevada. As for results, CRG conquered several podiums in different categories.



Winner of the World Championship and of the WSK in Super KF with Arnaud Kozlinksi, as well as of the World Cup for KZ1 with Jonathan Thonon, the official team had high hopes for another victory in Super Pro (125cc KZ). "The team did an excellent job to create the best possible conditions for our drivers" CRG noted. "This year too, Jonathan Thonon had the performance to aim for victory and repeat his 2008 success at the Supernationals.

He won one heat, but was not equally successful in the final race. Pity, because lap after lap his equipment had shown increasingly better performances. Davide Forè was very fast, too, but unfortunately he suffered a mechanical problem and involuntarily dragged Jonathan down with him. A hard blow for the team".

Arnaud Kozlinski raced at top level the whole weekend and finished with a nice 4th place overall, several lengths ahead of American Ron White (8th) and Swiss Cyndie Allemann (9th). 12th in the standings, Gary Carlton could have entered the top 5, but was too often slowed down by collisions in the pack.

In KF2, Brandon Maisano was highly competitive at the wheel of his CRG-Maxter, which he led to 3rd place after conquering the pole. American driver Doug Cox showed an equally good performance in G1 (125cc Shifter), while his compatriot Billy Cleavelin led CRG to triumph in TaG Master. And there were as many as four CRG chassis in the S3 top 6, thanks to Keenan Schmitke (2nd), Brian Keck, Jacob Neal and Clinton Schombee!


2009: The Year of All Successes for Maxter

Las Vegas, its casinos, its hotels, its lights and... its famous karting event, the Supernationals, which gathers over 400 drivers. Many of them were equipped with Maxter engines, which demonstrated once again their competitiveness in this part of North America.

"There were several problems during the race and we couldn't win in Super Pro, but we are satisfied that we have proved that Maxter engines are equally fast and reliable in their 125cc versions, with and without a gearbox" the technical team of the Italian engine manufacturer commented delighted.

"Our drivers showed some nice performances and Brandon Maisano (KF2) and Doug Cox in G1 (125cc Shifter) deserve our compliments for making the podium in Vegas. This season brought us many victories and we have finished the 2009 season in beauty. There'll be other appointments with success in 2010 with our new engines..."
