Al Nabooda Automobiles, the official dealer of Audi in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, is adding to its arts and culture programme by hosting another event under the Audi art experience umbrella.


Taking place at the Audi Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, the art workshop runs from 29th - 30th September and will culminate in a showcase of the completed artwork on Wednesday 2nd  October at the Audi art experience exhibition.


Her Highness Sheikha Wafa, an accomplished artist in her own right across multiple artistic disciplines and a strong supporter of Middle East talent will take part in the workshop.


Emirati artist Mohammed Al Qassab, famous for his intense use of colour to create grid like structures of expanding and contracting spaces and vibrations, will be one of the many artists taking part in the workshop.


Joining Mohammed at the workshop will be British artisit Patricia Millns, with a studio based in Dubai for over twenty-eight years, her work was initially inspired by the complexity and repetition of imagery within Islamic art and design systems.


Nasir Nasrallah is known for his artistic creations being full of childlike curiosity, imagination and playfulness while Khalid Al Mikdadi is an accomplished painter from Iraq.  Other well known artists taking part in the experience are Khulood Al Jabari, Bassem Al Sayer, Abdulkader Mubarak, Mahmoud Fahmi Abbod and Humaid Mansoor.


Each artist will be tasked with creating an artistic showpiece based on their interpretation of the new Audi Dubai showroom, situated on Sheikh Zayed Road.


Respected curator Mr. Khalil Abdulwahid will guide the artists through the process and provide tips and advice on how to create an original masterpiece. Assisting Khalil Abdulwahid will be Mr. Hussain Al Mahdaly.


Art lovers and enthusiasts can pass by the showroom each day of the event between 5.00pm and 9.00pm to watch the creative process of each artist and see their works come to life.
