Dubai residents swap sand for Swedish ice as winners of Volkswagen driving experience

Three Dubai residents have left the UAE sand in their wake and flown to the freezing temperatures of Sweden for a once in a lifetime Volkswagen driving experience on an icy lake.
Ziyad Asgar Kazi from India, Islam Masoud from Egypt and Amanda Rushforth from the UK won an all-expenses paid trip to Arvidsjaur in Sweden, courtesy of Al Nabooda Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Volkswagen in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The Al Nabooda Automobiles winners pay close attention during their intense Volkswagen Sweden Ice Adventure training course before hitting the ice.
The five-day trip saw each winner take to the wheel of the powerful Golf R, learning the specific techniques for driving on icy terrains by a team of professional trainers, while taking in the awe-inspiring winter landscapes just a few kilometres below the Arctic Circle.
