Idee & Konzept
Der "Content Management Practice Award" versteht sich als "Qualitäts- und Innovationspreis" für die Lösung von Internet- und Intranet-Anwendungsproblemen mit Content-Management-Technologien.
Die Auszeichnung wird durch eine unabhängige Fachjury in insgesamt neun Kategorien an nominierte Projekte vergeben. Projektnominierungen können von jedermann per Online-Formular vorgenommen werden. Teilnehmen können allerdings nur die hinter den Projekten stehenden Unternehmen selbst. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist die Einreichung vollständiger Award-Unterlagen.
CM Practice Award Kategorien
Der "Content Management Practice Award" wird für Content-Management-Lösungen in verschiedenen Branchen sowie branchenübergreifend für zwei Intranet-Konzeptansätze verliehen. Gegenstand der Bewertung sind dabei jeweils die branchentypische bzw. beim Intranet konzepttypische Anwendung der Content-Management-Technologien für die Lösung der Projektanforderungen.
Darüber hinaus werden zudem noch zwei Sonderpreise vergeben - zum einen ein Publikumspreis für die beste Kundenservice-Orientierung auf Basis von Content-Technologien sowie zum anderen ein Innovationspreis für die innovativste Content-Lösung.

Der "Content Management Practice Award" versteht sich als "Qualitäts- und Innovationspreis" für die Lösung von Internet- und Intranet-Anwendungsproblemen mit Content-Management-Technologien. Es ist eine Auszeichnung der Veranstaltungsinitiative "ECM WORLD", die im Rahmen der "CeBIT Content Management Arena" verliehen wird.
Als Leitidee für die Award-Verleihung haben die Initiatoren folgende Grundsätze definiert:
Der Content Management Practice Award prämiert Content-Management-Projekte von Unternehmen.
Die Award-Vergabe ist unabhängig, transparent und öffentlich. Jede Person und Organisation kann Vorschläge für eine Nominierung einbringen. Die Vorauswahl und Prämierung erfolgt durch eine Experten-Auswahl.
Publikumspreis
Mit dem Publikumspreis "Bestes Content-Management-Projekt" wird die beste Content-Management-Umsetzung durch das öffentliche Publikum prämiert. Auf der Basis der zum "Content Management Practice Award" nominierten Vorschläge können alle Web-Nutzer und CeBIT-Besucher bis zum 20.03.07 um 12.00 Uhr das von ihnen favorisierte Projekt auswählen. Der Vorschlag mit den meisten Publikumsstimmen erhält den Publikumspreis.
Die Bewertung erfolgt sowohl über das Internet als auch an den Informationsterminals am Stand der "CeBIT Content Management Arena". Der Publikumspreis wird als Sonderpreis ausschließlich durch die Internet-Nutzer und Arena-Besucher entschieden und unterliegt nicht der Qualitätsbeurteilung durch die Fachjury des "Content Management Practice Award".
Je Kategorie werden maximal 30 Projekte nominiert. Darüber hinaus hat die Fachjury das Recht, fünf weitere Unternehmen mit einfacher Mehrheit nachzunominieren.
Bewertungsmaßstäbe
Die Beurteilung der eingereichten Angebote erfolgt nach Bewertungskriterien, für die exemplarisch folgende Aspekte gelten:
Erreichungsgrad der gesetzten Projektziele
Realisierungsgrad der branchen-/konzept-spezifischen Potentiale (Kosten/Qualität/Flexibilität)
Effizienz und Effektivität des Ressourcen-Einsatz für Content-Management-Prozess
Performance-Verbesserung durch Content-Management (inhaltl. Qualität/Aktualität/Marketing-Performance)
Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des Projekt-ROI
Die definierten Bewertungsmaßstäbe sind als abstrakte Vergleichsgrößen zu verstehen und sind je nach Kategorie durch die Fachjury zu spezifizieren. Im Rahmen der Bewertung müssen nicht alle Bewertungsmaßstäbe auf jedes prämierte Projekt gleichermaßen zutreffen.
Veröffentlichung der Gewinner
Die Bekanntgabe der Gewinner erfolgt im Rahmen des Programmes der "CeBIT Content Management Arena" zu den gekennzeichneten Terminen. Des Weiteren werden die Gewinner auf der Website der "CeBIT Content Management Arena", der "ECM WORLD" und evt. den Webseiten der Medienpartner der "CeBIT Content Management Arena" veröffentlicht.
Die Gewinner werden zudem schriftlich benachrichtigt. Jeder Gewinner erklärt sich damit einverstanden, dass sein Name und Bild auf den oben genannten Webseiten und in weiteren Medien veröffentlicht werden kann. Ein Rechtsanspruch auf Veröffentlichung besteht nicht.
Ausschluss von der Teilnahme
Die Kongress Media GmbH behält sich vor, Bewerbungen von der Teilnahme auszuschließen, wenn deren Inhalt gegen die Teilnahmebedingungen oder gegen geltendes deutsches Recht verstößt oder keinen Bezug zu den definierten Kategorien erkennen lassen. Ein Ausschluss kann ohne Nennung von Gründen erfolgen.
