The Danish lifestyle brand, Day Birger et Mikkelsen Menswear, was today presented as a new partner of Team Leopard-Trek, the newly-founded cycling team featuring stars Andy and Fränk Schleck, Fabian Cancellara and Danish cyclist Jakob Fuglsang, among others.

All 25 riders on the team will wear clothing from the specially-designed and exclusive Day Menswear collection, which as always represents an ambitious, informal and free-spirited lifestyle – values that are particularly fitting for Team Leopard-Trek and the nomadic existence of modern riders today.
“Day Birger et Mikkelsen Menswear has an ever-present goal of maintaining its position as the leading brand in fashion and lifestyle, while acting as a leading partner for the strongest players in culture, art, film, music and sports. Therefore, we are extremely proud to enter into this cooperation, where DAY Menswear will design the riders’ clothing and help to form the visual profile of Team Leopard-Trek,” says Keld Mikkelsen, Creative Director at Day Birger et Mikkelsen Menswear.
Team Leopard-Trek CEO, Brian Nygaard, adds: “A new generation is making its breakthrough in cycling with Team Leopard-Trek. Of course, the riders are first and foremost exceptional athletes; however, we live in a time where they are not only in the spotlight when racing, but often 24 hours a day.
So it was important for us to find a partner whose design compliments both the cyclists personally and the team’s overall profile. Therefore, we are very happy that DAY Menswear is a part of the team from the start.”
The specially-designed collection includes club blazers and club trousers, T-shirts, a scarf and a modern and updated version of the classic tuxedo shirt. At the presentation of Team Leopard- Trek Luxembourg, the riders wore a set in the colours black and grey melange.
