2017: A Very Successful Season!




For Mühlner Motorsport and Muehlner Motorsports America the 2017 season was one of the most successful seasons in the very long team history!



In total 15 wins, 6 second places and 1 third place were achieved while competing on both sides of the Atlantic in VLN, ADAC 6h and 24h Nuerburgring, IMSA CTSC and PCA with its Porsche Cayman GT4 and 911 GT3 fleet.



The Teams Porsche Cayman GT4 CS #979 scored with 6 wins and 3 second places in the 9 rounds of the German Endurance Championship (VLN) more points (81,79) than any other of the more than 150 cars. Also the drivers and team Championship in the Porsche Cayman GT4 CS Trophy could be celebrated.





2018: Next season ahead



In 2018 Mühlner Motorsport will enter again two Porsche Cayman GT4 CS in CUP3 class (Cayman GT4 Trophy) of the German Endurance Championship (VLN) and the ADAC 6 and 24h races at the Nuerburgring Nordschleife.



 On top of this, the Spa-Francorchamps based Squad will run two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 991 Gen2 in Cup2 class. As an option, the Team will maybe also enter on demand a Porsche Cayman GT4 MR in the SRO GT4 SP10 class at the Nordschleife.
 


Furthermore, Mühlner Motorsport will be able to offer driver seats in the SRO GT4 Series North and South as well as in the Creventic 24h series.
 


Mühlner Motorsport is very proud to introduce the Team’s first Junior Program to race in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy 2018. With the huge experience in professional motorsport they will provide knowledge, support and driver education using the Race Navigator video- and data logger system for their Juniors to help them developing their skills as race drivers.



Mühlner Motorsport is also available as service and operation team for GT3 programs not only at the Nordschleife, but also in Blancpain, ADAC GT-Masters etc..

Our Partners in Europe:
 


M-Service America will be again involved in the PCA series, providing services to customers but also offering seats in Porsche 911s. A 997 GT3 Grand-Am with RSR gear box and a 991 GT-America with 4,0l engine are available.



Beside this, Muehlner Motorsports America is also offering their professional services for the Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy East operated by PCA.



Two Porsche Cayman GT4 MRs will be run in the Pirelli World Challenge GTS (GT4) Series, in Sprint and SprintX. If requested a Driver Coach, who could be also the 2nd driver in the SprintX races, will be available.



The high professional Muehlner Motorsports America Squad is also available as service and operation team for the GT / GTA (GT3) class of PWC.



Of course the Team is also monitoring the IMSA programs (Championship, Challenge and Cup Challenge) beside the PCA and PWC efforts.

Driving School:


All starts with Road Safety Courses. If someone wants to go deeper into it, the Pro Drivers of Mühlner Motorsport and Muehlner Motorsports America are supporting Gentleman and Amateur Drivers with their knowledge and experience.



From Coaching at Track Days the way leads up to racing in different series like VLN*, 24h Nuerburgring*, Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy East, IMSA GS and GTD and the PWC GT, GTA or GTS.



Mühlner Motorsport and Muehlner Motorsports America are using the innovative Race Navigator camera and data logging system to improve driver skills.

About Muehlner:




Bernhard Mühlner built his first competition car as early as 1978. Together with his brother Hartmut, he built a Volkswagen Golf GTI with which the brothers then competed in national rallies.



When Mühlner Motorsport switched to racetracks, the team worked with OPEL, at that time the German make of General Motors, for decades.



After factory racing for VOLVO at the Nuerburgring Nordschleife, Mühlner has build a long and lasting relationship with Porsche over the last 15 years.



During these 40 years of racing, the successful Team around Renate-Carola & Bernhard Mühlner competed worldwide on race tracks in Abu Dhabi, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Dubai, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain and in the USA and participated in racing series like FIA GT World Championship, FIA GT3 European Championship, ADAC GT-Masters, IMSA Championship and Challenge, Grand-Am, PWC, Porsche Supercup (support series to F1) and others. In total the Team participated 42 times in a 24hour race as for example the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 24Heures de Spa-Francorchamps, the 24-Stunden-Nuerburgring, the Dubai 24h and so on.
