Four teams will be fighting for TCR laurels in the ADAC 24-h Rennen on the Nordschleife.

Target Competition will run two Hyundai cars under the banner of Hyundai Motorsport N. Reigning TCR Germany champion Harald Proczyk will share driving duties in the i30 N with Peter Terting, Andreas Gülden and Manuel Lauck; the latter will also alternate at the wheel of the Veloster N with Mark Basseng, Nico Verdonck and Moritz Oestreich.

Honda answers with a Civic Type R run by Fugel Motorsport for Tiago Monteiro, Markus Oestreich, Dominik Fugel and Cedrik Totz. The field is completed by the FEV Racing CUPRA of Lukas Thiele, Benedikt Gentgen, Martin Pischinger and André Gies.

The Campeonato de España Resistencia resumes at Circuit Valencia Ricardo Tormo for its third event of the season. 14 teams have entered in the TCR class that will run, together with the GTs, in two races of 48 minutes plus one lap each.

Andorra's Amalia Vinyes (Baporo Motorsport CUPRA) is comfortably leading the standings by 32 points over Alba Cano (Monlau Competición CUPRA); two further points adrift in third position - and first in the... male championship - are Gianluigi Vicinanza and Álex Cosín (Monlau Competición CUPRA).

The series welcomes a few new drivers including TCR Europe regular Abdulla Al-Khelaifi (PCR Sport CUPRA) and Valencia's lady driver Marta Suria Soler (SMC Junior Motorsport Peugeot 308), a former champion in the Spanish MINI Challenge.

After they were sidelined by technical issues in the TCR UK season opener at Oulton Park, both Lewis Kent (Essex & Kent Motorsport Hyundai i30 N) and Darelle Wilson (DW Racing Vauxhall Astra) return to the series this weekend at Donington Park.

They will be joined by three drivers who make their first appearance in the championship: Max Coates a race winner in the International and UK Renault Clio cups will drive a CUPRA DSG for DAT Racing, the reigning Ginetta GT5 champion Nick Halstead will sit at the wheel of a Honda Civic FK2 run by Fox Racing and Orange Motorsport, while DAT Racing has entered a CUPRA for James Turkington, the younger brother of triple BTCC champion Colin.
