Nabil Jeffri will be competing for Team Motopark in the 2014 ATS Formula 3 Cup. The 20-year old from Kuala Lumpur jumped ship for his second season in Germany’s most important feeder series and has joined one of Europe’s most successful and established junior teams.
Jeffri is part of a dedicated young driver development programme by Malaysia’s oil and petrol company, Petronas. “We are proud that Petronas has chosen our team as a worthy partner for their driver development programme,” says Team Principal Timo Rumpfkeil.
“It was for everyone to see last year that Nabil Jeffri has got loads of potential. We asked him out for a test, where he then convinced us completely that he has got what it takes. We are sure that we will be fighting for the title with Nabil this year.”
The talented driver from the Far East is looking forward to a new season with a new team. “I know I have still got a lot to learn. However, there is no better team for a young guy to learn the ropes than Team Motopark. The team and I gelled immediately, both from a professional and a personal point of view,” says the Petronas Talent Driver. “I am looking forward to fly the Malaysian flag in Europe throughout 2014.”

In addition to Nabil Jeffri, Columbian Andrés Méndez and Dutchman Indy Dontje will contest the German Formula 3 for Team Motopark. A fourth driver will be announced within the next few days.
In 2013, champion Marvin Kirchhöfer was at the wheel of a vehicle of the Oschersleben-based team. And he will do a virtual pit stop with the ATS Formula 3 Cup this Sunday. The driver from Leipzig will answer questions from fans on Facebook for one hour, starting at 1 pm CEST. Anybody can participate.
