Kevin Magnussen is the newest contestant in the highest class of Formula racing who earned his spurs in the ATS Formula 3 Cup. The racing events of the Formula 3 Association were a stepping stone for real icons, and the starting grid of the 2014 ATS Formula 3 Cup includes drivers from all over the world, who are eager to complete their general qualification for motorsports.
This positive basis has now led to a new collaboration; Motorsport-Magazin.com will be the official media partner of the ATS Formula 3 Cup.
Motorsport-Magazin.com has attracted 670,000 unique users, making it the leading motorsports web portal in Germany. A print edition of the same name is available. The Facebook page at //www.facebook.com/motorsportmagazin has more than 380,000 followers. The creative team with editorial offices in Munich and Graz is committed to actuality of information, integrity and passion.
They share the fascination of motorsports with the fans, reporting directly from the racetracks. “We are looking forward to supporting the ATS Formula 3 Cup with Motorsport-Magazin.com as the official media partner,” says CEO Mike Wiedel.
“The ATS Formula 3 Cup is synonymous with thrilling racing action and an integral part of German single-seater racing. We would like to use the partnership to bring the racing series, including its teams and drivers closer to our readers.”
Readers of the print edition of Motorsport-Magazin.com can expect interesting background stories about Germany’s fastest single-seater series in the future. The web portal will also be extended to include portraits of drivers, pictures and news.

Off the track
The Formula 3 Association intends to not only prepare the young talents for their future through practice in the car, but also with initiatives like the Ravenol Media Award, which is endowed with a prize money of 5,000 Euros. Motorsport- Magazin.com will also have an important role in this.
Robert Seiwert, managing editor of the magazine, will join the jury which already includes Martin Huning, Ravenol Motorsport Director, Katrin Wolff, Managing Editor of Auto Bild Motorsport magazine and Bettina Eichhammer, the ATS Formula 3 Cup spokeswoman.
There is a broad variety of topics, including press and media relations, public relations, events, online communication, social media or film. The drivers contesting the ATS Formula 3 Cup will have to submit their project by October 31st, 2014. With this, the German Formula 3 lives up to its mission “general qualification for motorsports” once more.
