Nico Rosberg:  I felt comfortable the whole week-end in the car. I am very happy. The atmosphere is fantastic. I am very glad to see the support given here to Felipe Massa.


A great crowd and a great race. I had a great start. But all tires were difficult. Lewis was so close behind me. I had to look that I do not make any mistakes. I learned from Austin and I did not make a mistake at the key moments.


It was a great week-end following a tough race in Austin. It was important to improve and I managed to do that. A big step in the right direction. I lost one race, but I am hoping to keep this going on. It was a great race and I always needed to make sure that the gap was great and that Nico would not overtake me.  The team keeps pushing .


Everyone is fully head down focused all the way.


We were hunting before and now we are hunted.


This is the big change. It is fantastic.


I find double points artificials. But now it is great for me. But that is because of the situation. In other sports, like Nascar there is a similar situation. Let s try ohow it works and see if we keep doing it or not.


All week-end I was confident and in the first stint I could control the gap and make sure that I controlled the gap for the whole race. I saved more tires than I usually would have done. It worked very well. I must win in Abu Dhabi and Lewis has to finish third to win.


Team-mate is difficult contender. Lewis is a strong competitior with the same car than me.


Iknow it is a great battle and fantastic that the team is treating us equally . we are in a great situation. At themoment the relationship is neutral. We had difficult times and it is very competitive. Now it is a  great connection. Lets see who wins next race.



Lewis Hamilton: " I am second and I did a fantastic job. Great team-work. My race was difficult . It was amazing I had a great time. The car was fantastic. The team did a great job in front of the best crowd today.


I lost a bit of time today, but everything is in place for a great final in Abu Dhabi I am 17 points behind. Ultimately my spin cost me my win. I was a second quicker when Nico pitted. Into turn four...


No one faults. Great result for the team. No mistakes and we are one-two. I was pushing til the checkered flag . I have now 11 1-2 finishes. It is a record.


Rears were dead and I lost a bit on the grid.


Overall, I am happy I came back. I am looking forward to the next race.


I worked very hard for the championship. Ayrton was the favorite driver. He was a genius It is harder to be competing with the same car and your team-mate. It is a different approach for sure.


I feel in good condition for the next race.


Today I do not consider I did a mistake. I was not winning the word championship but points. I will decide how to approach the next race closer to the race.


I could not get the turn like I wanted and I lost in the middle sector.



Felipe Massa ­ 3rd: "Fantastic. I am so happy for the race. I had a drive through penalty and I was quickest than the McLaren. I am just happy. This is fantastic for Brazil.


It was not easy to receive a penalty. But it was my fault to speed in the box. Then everything worked well and everything was oiled and perfect to the final laps. It is a lot of emotion in front of our public. And I am glad to be where I am.


My third position is like a win. The race was amazing. The pace was there, the car was quick.


The car was competitive. Not enough to beat the Mercedes. I had a problem with the pitstop and I pressed the pitlimitor and that was a problem.


I managed to catch the guys and overtake many cars. I stopped and opened the gap like Jenson I stopped in the McLaren garage instead of mine.


I thought it was our garage and I lost a lot of time...


I was quick today and as long as I am competitive and enjoying my result I do not see the reason to stop. I think that Verstappen is doing a good job even if very young, but in F1 you only get an opportunity only. So you have to be ready when the opportunity opens. He has the talent. Let’s go. He has a talent and he is young.


When I was in the McLaren pit and speeding in the pitlane I was really afraid that I loose the podium.


I pushed hard. But I had to push enough but at least no too strongly. And I managed!


I am confident for Abu Dhabi. Just like last race we can fight for the podium and win points in the next race.
