Gerard de Rooy recovered from a complicated start to win the truck race. It looks like the Dutchman capitalised on Villagra's problems in the final part of the stage, with the Argentinian finishing 51 minutes back.

Argentinian Federico Villagra and his Iveco posted the fastest time so far at CP2 (km 111), beating De Rooy by 14'15' and Van Genugten by 1 h 38.
