13:42 : Cars: Peter Pan flies again!
Stéphane Peterhansel demolished the competition in today's special. He spent the entire dune stage on the attack and finished the 244 km special in 4 h 13'32'. His teammate Cyril Despres was the only driver who managed to keep up, finishing second and conceding 'only' 5'40' to his fellow countryman.
15:59 : Cars: Loeb fifth today
Sébastien Loeb's strong performance was good enough for fifth in today's stage. The man from Alsace lost 17'40' to his teammate Stéphane Peterhansel, and will no doubt regret the 10' lost when he got stuck in the sand. The Frenchman is learning fast, that's for sure.
15:46 : Cars: Nani Roma third in the stage
Nani Roma (Mini) has just finished a stage he started far behind the leaders. A solid performance by the Spaniard, who finished third, 14'33' behind Stéphane Peterhansel.
15:06 : Cars: Roma and Loeb in the top 5 at CP3
Things are looking up for Nani Roma and Sébastien Loeb in the second part of the stage. Mini's Spaniard and Peugeot's Frenchman sit in fourth and fifth place respectively, 11'51' and 17'16' behind Peterhansel.
15:03 : Cars: Sainz waiting for help
Carlos Sainz's nightmare isn't over yet. The Peugeot driver had to stop at km 213 due to a broken strut between the engine and the gearbox, and he is now waiting for his assistance crew to get back into the race.
12:31 : Cars: Cyril Despres chases Peterhansel
After an unlucky start to the rally, Cyril Despres (Peugeot) is also having a great day today. He went through CP3 with the second best time so far, 8'55' behind teammate Peterhansel. The Frenchman will gain many places in the overall if he can keep it up until the finish.
