 12:53 Nikolaev leads at the first section’s end

Eduard Nikolaev has finished the first part of the special and the general standings leader boasts a lead of one minute over Federico Villagra and 4’29 sur Airat Mardeev.

Yesterday’s winner Eduard Nikolaev has set off at the same pace today. The Kamaz driver leads Federico Villagra by 41 seconds at CP1 and Airat Mardeev by 1’18.

With the first bikes not far from the start of the special’s second portion, half of the cars have set off along the long neutralised zone.

Eduard Nikolaev, the new leader of the general standings in the truck category, is the first trucker to get to grips with the day’s special.


His team-mates Dmitry Sotnikov and Airat Mardeev will follow him on to the first portion of the day’s special.
