FIA F2 Championship, Sprint Race, Race Sunday
Red Bull Ring, Spielberg - Austria

The Team Trident cars concluded the Austrian trip with a solid performance. Santino Ferrucci made his way to the points zone in seventh place, while Arjun Maini fought back to P10.
In the Sprint Race held today by the FIA Formula 2 Championship on the Austrian track of Spielberg, the Team Trident cars impressed with a solid race pace that brought both drivers in the top-ten. Twenty-year-old American Santino Ferrucci fought back from tenth place on the grid to cross the line in seventh.
The promising youngster showcased fine overtaking skills and took advantage of every good moment of the race to make the decisive moves. Arjun Maini was equally strong and finalized a convincing comeback with a tenth position.
The Indian talent confirmed his pace on the ups and downs of Spielberg but his weekend was compromised by the double intervention of the safety car in the Feature Race, which deprived him of a Prestigious result and forced him to start from the seventh row on the grid in today's race.
The technical staff and the drivers of the Trident Team will know no rest in this tight part of the season. The next event of the year is scheduled in seven days on the historic Silverstone track and the preparation work for the demanding trip has already started.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager:
"Our drivers were at outstanding levels in today's heat, and the pace of both Team Trident cars has been solid too. Our paring starred in the Sprint Race and I am satisfied with the management of the race by Santino Ferrucci and Arjun Maini.
They were mature and smart in the most decisive phases, attacking in the right moment. Following today's good feedback, we are already focused on the preparations for Silverstone race, scheduled in seven days".

FIA F2 Championship, Spielberg, Feature Race Saturday
Trident Team secured a points finish with Santino Ferrucci at Red Bull Ring despite an early contact. Arjun Maini, who ran among the frontrunners, was hampered by a double safety car situation.
The first race of the FIA Formula 2 Championship at the Austrian Red Bull Ring track was influenced by two safety car situation, which took to the track to help to remove cars that remained stationary due to mechanical problems.
The double neutralization heavily affected the result of the race, penalizing the drivers who had chosen to take off with the "prime" tires, the harder compound. It is certainly the case of promising Indian Arjun Maini, who started from the third row on the grid in P5. For a long part of the race, he was able to battle at the front.
The 20-year-old racer set the second fastest time of the race and was clearly deserving a podium position. American racer Santino Ferrucci took points as he completed the race in P10 despite a contact at the first corner that damaged the set-up of his car and conditioned his pace. The talented driver from Connecticut lost positions due to a tear-off visor that blocked a radiator on his car, raising temperatures and sending the engine in safety mode.
The two Team Trident drivers, who are part of Haas F1 Team, will focus on analyzing the data collected in the Feature Race with their technical staff. A key procedure in preparing for the Sprint Race, starting tomorrow at 12:00 in front of the Austrian Grand Prix crowd.
Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager:
"The double safety car heavily influenced the result of today's race. Arjun Maini impressed with an excellent race pace, which would have allowed him to capture a prestigious result.
On the other hand, Santino Ferrucci ended up in the top-10 despite being hit by a contender during the opening lap. Overall, the Team Trident proved very competitive on the race pace. Thee are the conditions for our drivers to be among the frontrunners in tomorrow's Sprint Race".
