Renault Sport Team Vitality trio James Doherty, Sven Zürner and Kimmy Larsson head to London next week (Wednesday 31st October) for round two of the official Formula 1 Esports series.
The trio faced a challenging experience on debut in Renault colours at round one earlier in the month, with James scoring a best finish of fifth in the Melbourne race. After the opening three races, the team sit eighth in the team standings.
James Doherty: “I cannot wait for event two of the F1 Esports series after going wheel-to-wheel with the best drivers in the world at round one. My pace and results actually surprised me, therefore the confidence and motivation has only grown since then to make Renault the champions of F1 Esports.”
Sven Zürner: "The first event was not the best for me, but I have learned from my mistakes and I have worked very hard since then. Now, I feel ready for the next races."
Kimmy Larsson: "Paul Ricard is a track I truly enjoy. It has lots of tricky corner combinations and a long DRS straight, which will mean overtaking possibilities. I should be strong for that one. Spa too will be interesting as anything could happen in terms of weather conditions!”
