Le Trophée Andros, la plus grande course automobile sur glace autos-motos-thermiques-électriques, qui fête cette saison son 30ème anniversaire, débutera sur le circuit de Val Thorens le 8 & 9 décembre prochains et promet d'ores et déjà d'offrir de belles surprises à son public en amont et à l'occasion de la finale au Stade de France le 9 février 2019.
Parmi les évènements marquants de cette édition, il y a le grand retour du pilote Franck Montagny, ex-pilote de F1 et d'endurance actuellement consultant sur Canal +, qui remettra le casque 15 ans après sa 1ère participation sur glace au Stade de France en 2004.
Il pilotera une Andros Car lors des épreuves de Val Thorens (8/9 décembre 2018), de Superbesse (2 février 2019) et sera également présent pour fêter les 30 ans du Trophée Andros au cœur du mythique Stade de France le 9 février 2019.

Perrine Laffont , notre championne olympique de ski de bosses en 2018 et originaire des Pyrénées, viendra relever un nouveau défi et fera ses premiers tours de roues lors de l’épreuve d’Andorre (21/22 décembre 2018) et Pierre Vaultier, le double champion olympique de snowboardcross en 2014 et 2018 sera à l’assaut de la piste glacée de Serre Chevalier, station dont il est ambassadeur, les 19 et 20 janvier 2019.
Déjà engagés lors des saisons passées, l'Enedis Trophée Andros Electrique accueillera de nouveau ses pilotes chevronnés aux couleurs de leurs partenaires tels que :
- Vincent Beltoise sur la "Stef"
- Christophe Ferrier sur la "Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur"
- Louis Gervoson sur la "ALD Automotive"
- Clémentine Lhoste sur la "Loxam"
- Sacha Prost sur la "Polartec"
- Louis Rousset sur la "Petit Forestier"
L'"Andros" et l'"Enedis" accueilleront de prestigieux invités sur les différentes épreuves dont les noms seront dévoilés prochainement.
Précurseur dans l'organisation d'une compétition 100% électrique depuis 2009, cette nouvelle saison annonce de nouveau une grande première mondiale pour le Trophée Andros: l'Andros Sport 01 conçue par la société Exagon Engineering, 1ère silhouette 4 roues motrices et directrices 100% électrique fait son entrée dans la compétition. Trois voitures se présenteront sur la grille de départ dès l'épreuve de Val Thorens, face aux thermiques (catégorie Elite Pro) - à la tête desquelles J-B Dubourg remettra son titre en jeu - et une autre les rejoindra en cours de saison.
A suivre en direct l’opposition électrique/thermique. Sont déjà confirmés les pilotes Aurélien Panis (vainqueur de l'Enedis Trophée Andros Electrique la saison dernière) sur la "Plastic'Up" qui sera associé à son père Olivier Panis lors de la finale au Stade de France, ainsi que Franck Lagorce (20ème participation au Trophée Andros) sur l'"Andros Sport".
L'organisateur Max Mamers et son équipe se réjouissent à cette occasion d'accueillir Mersen, nouveau partenaire technique, expert mondial des spécialités électriques et des matériaux avancés qui équipera les quatre voitures électriques. (Plus d'infos sur notre site).
