•    Multiple options announced for TV and online viewing

•    Accomplished broadcast team confirmed to anchor multi-event championship

Full broadcast details can now be revealed for the SRO E-Sport GT Series, which kicks off this weekend with a pair of Assetto Corsa Competizione races staged at Silverstone (26 April).

The new multi-event championship will feature the same all-star team that anchored last month's SRO Charity Challenge, a one-off race at Monza which raised money for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. The familiar voice of David Addison will guide fans through the action as lead commentator, reprising his usual role from GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS. Motorsport legend John Watson will also be on hand to provide his frank assessment of the racing.

Events will be hosted by Jack Nicholls, whose experience in both real-world and virtual motorsport makes him a natural fit for the format. Ben Constandurous also combines considerable knowledge of both forms of competition and will once again add depth to the in-race analysis.

A wide variety of viewing options will ensure that fans can enjoy every lap of the SRO E-Sport GT Series on television and online. The Motorvision platform will allow a host of countries to watch the highlights of the races, with its significant reach encompassing key European markets such as France, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as territories across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Further TV options will be available in selected European regions, with Sky Italia set to broadcast comprehensive coverage to viewers across the nation. Italy will be further served by a combination of live action and highlights on MSMotor, while Romania will receive the same on Sport Extra. Spain (TV3) and Poland (Eleven Sports) will also enjoy highlights.

In the United Sates and Canada, CBS Sports will broadcast event highlights to a vast audience while airing races live on its Digital channel. Highlights will also be available throughout the U.S. and Canada thanks to MavTV, while Flow Sports will provide the same service to fans in the Caribbean.

In Asia, Astro will air live coverage and highlights to a host of nations across the continent, while PCCW will carry highlights in Hong Kong. New Zealand will enjoy live coverage thanks to Channel 3, while a variety of viewing options in Australia include live action on Speedweek. In Africa, Talent Sport Nigeria will broadcast events to a significant domestic audience, while AZAM TV will air live action in a dozen countries across the continent. The Middle East will also enjoy access to live coverage and highlights on the Africa XP network.

As ever, fans will have access to a wide variety of online viewing options. All races will be broadcast globally on GT-World-Challenge.com, the GT World YouTube account, and the SRO Motorsports Twitch and Facebook pages. Motor Trend On Demand, The Race and Motorsport.com will also air coverage.

Organised in collaboration with Kunos Simulazioni and Ak Informatica, the SRO E-Sports GT Series gets underway on Sunday, with coverage set to begin at 13:45 CET and run through to 16:30. A pair of one-hour Assetto Corsa Competizione contests will be staged at Silverstone, with the Pro (real-world drivers) and Silver Series (invited sim racers) competing separately. The championship will then tackle Spa-Francorchamps (10 May), the Nürburgring (17 May), Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (31 May) and a fifth race (14 June) at a venue decided by public vote.

The star performers from each class – as well as those from the Am Series for public qualifiers – will progress to a grand finale, with the circuit again selected by a fan vote. This winner-takes-all contest will decide who takes the title of 2020 SRO E-Sports GT Series champion.
