Matteo Nannini was once more among the fastest drivers at Imola with DR Formula, in the second day of the European Formula Regional testing hosted on Friday 26 June, when he set in the morning session the second quickest time in 1:39.262.



After dominating the two-day testing at Misano last week, Nannini reached easily the top spots. Eventually the 16-year-old Italian driver made a race simulation in the afternoon, completing a total of 70 laps.



Although he missed the first day, due to his commitment at Verona with the simulator to prepare the first round of FIA Formula 3 Championship scheduled on 4/5 July at the Red Bull Ring track, when he will make his debut in the series with team Jenzer Motorsport - Nannini spent another day at the simulator on Tuesday at the Swiss team headquarter - he could try a lot the Tatuus of the Formula Regional category.



“I made a good job in the morning, before making some setup changing. Eventually I made a race simulation in the afternoon”, Nannini said. “I could complete 70 laps in total and I am fully satisfied”.



Now Nannini will be totally focused at the double FIA Formula 3 round at Spielberg.
