There's less than a month to go before Radical's Spanish winter series recommences - the Radical Nevada Cup! We welcome ALL Radicals regardless of model or age to come and enjoy some fun in the sun.


The Radical Nevada Cup is gearing up for an exciting series of races and events in sunny Iberia this winter, creating the perfect opportunity for drivers in more northern climates to continue running our Radicals through the European and North American winters.


This year the Nevada Cup will comprise of four events from early December 2020 through to late February 2021. The series kicks off with the opportunity for an entire week in the Spanish sun, commencing with the first race event on the 5/6 December at the modern, mountain setting of Circuito de Almeria.



Enjoy a lazy week in Andalusia before resuming the driving action at a special Ascari test day on 11 December, a unique country club venue with one of the longest circuit layouts in Europe.




The action then resumes in January with the following race rounds:

•    23/24 January: Circuito Mike G Guadix
•    20/21 February: Circuito Monteblanco


Race events feature two 55-minute races, one per day, with the remaining time available as open pitlane trackday/testing time - an unbeatable 5-6 hours of track time each day. The format of each full weekend is planned as follows:


Day 1
4 hours free practice
1x 20mins Qualifying
1x 55mins Race with mandatory pitstop


Day 2
5 hours free practice
1x 55mins Race with mandatory pitstop



Full season package - 4 Events: €6,950+VAT for all 7 races

Individual events:
•    2 Day Weekend Events: €1,950+VAT
•    Ascari round - 1 Day Event: €1,250+VAT
 
 
 
 

 
Two drivers can share one car, and the regulations have intentionally been left broad and open to welcome as many Radical racers, past and present, to take part. So if you're racing this year, stay in form and get the jump on next season through this perfect "winter testing" opportunity. And if you're not, dust off that car and get back on track this winter!
Radical Iberia also have SR3 and SR1 race cars to rent, so if you’d rather arrive and drive, they have the solution.




TRAVEL INTO SPAIN


Spain has a straightforward online admission system for processing arrivals from abroad. All passengers travelling to Spain need to fill out and sign an online form 48 hours prior to travel, providing the Spanish Ministry of Health with contact information and details of any known history of exposure to COVID-19. You can do this on the Spain Travel Health website or downloadable app.



On completion, you will be issued a personal and non-transferable QR code which you must show (electronically or hardcopy) at airport health controls on arrival. After a temperature check and a visual health assessment, you can enter the country. Return arrangements vary from country to country - check your local government websites for the latest advice.
