The German brand is one of the world’s leading providers for power tools, power tool accessories and measuring tools, and Extreme E will use a range of Bosch’s professional power tools to service its electric SUV, the ODYSSEY 21, which will be raced next year in some of the most remote corners of the planet to highlight the climate emergency.
Extreme E sees the future of mobility as being electric, which is why it has chosen an E-SUV as its racecar. The series aims to showcase the capabilities of electric mobility with a view to encouraging change for consumers, and also engaging OEMs to use Extreme E as a test bed for future consumer facing technologies.

A variety of Bosch power tools will be used at Extreme E’s upcoming test in Spain, a key milestone in the championships development as it will be the first time all the teams will be together testing their cars.
Extreme E is set to go racing for the first time in March 2021 and will be a motorsport like no other. The five-event race calendar will visit some of the areas worst hit by the climate crisis to raise awareness and encourage change. In each of the five race locations Extreme E will leave a long lasting positive impact through its Legacy Programmes, which range from planting one million mangroves in Senegal to educating children in Greenland.
