15:35 Al-Attiyah and Al-Rajhi reach the finish

Nasser Al-Attiyah has just crossed the finishing line on the day’s special, as has Yazeed Al-Rajhi. However, they will have to wait for Stéphane Peterhansel and possible Sheikh Khalid Al-Qassimi to arrive, who lost the lead 60 km from the end of the stage, to discover who has won the stage.

15:20 Just a few kilometres left for “Peter”

Stéphane Peterhansel is withstanding the pressure exerted by Nasser Al-Attiyah who is in pursuit mode. The Frenchman possesses a lead of just over 38’’ approximately thirty kilometres from the finishing line.

15:08 Al-Qassimi leads

Sheikh Khalid Al-Qassimi has taken the lead after 362 km, distancing Stéphane Peterhansel and Nasser Al-Attiyah by a little more than 1’10’’. Cyril Despres is still displaying excellent pace and occupies fourth position a little less than four minutes behind!
