Castrol celebrate Europe's mechanics 22.01.2021: Celebrating the skills and commitment of local mechanics, Castrol Europe launched National Mechanics’ Month – a major campaign allowing customers and independent workshops to highlight the effort and achievements of their local technicians.

Celebrating the skills and commitment of local mechanics, Castrol Europe launched National Mechanics’ Month – a major campaign allowing customers and independent workshops to highlight the effort and achievements of their local technicians.
 



Throughout Poland, Spain, Germany and the UK, Castrol have encouraged motorists to nominate their most deserving local mechanic or workshop – giving them the credit they deserve whilst also recognising their key-work in keeping our communities running during the global pandemic.
 


The uptake has been impressive with over 2,000 nominations across all four markets, and Castrol hopes the initiative will drive traffic back to independent workshops.
 


Putting their support behind the campaign, M-Sport Ford will display the names of all the nominations on the two EcoBoost-powered Ford Fiesta WRCs during the FIA World Rally Championship’s opener at this weekend’s Rallye Monte-Carlo.
 



Highlighting the skills and commitment of mechanics in a sport where the hard work and dedication of the technicians can make all the difference, the initiative highlights the inspiring work some of Europe’s unsung heroes – the local mechanics.
