World-famous motorsport manufacturer joins 2021 partner roster on-event presence managed by Hypex Racewear in association with Demon Tweeks

 


One of the world’s best known motorsport industry manufacturers, Sparco, becomes the Intelligent Money British GT Championship’s Official Racewear Supplier this year.


The Italian company is trusted globally by more than 300 partner teams competing across a wide variety of disciplines, including Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR and Dakar.


It was originally established in 1977 to advance the cause of motorsport safety through technological innovation. Since 2000 The Sparco Group has harnessed that experience to diversify its range of activities, which now include the manufacturing of carbon fibre components on behalf of supercar and luxury automakers, sim racing hardware, and products for the safety clothing industry (footwear and workwear).


The instantly recognisable blue and white branding will appear trackside at all seven of this year’s British GT events, championship staff will be supplied with Sparco-made uniform, and a paddock-based service centre will provide teams and drivers with a range of essential racewear items.


The latter is managed by HypeX Racewear whose team of experts can customise Sparco’s products to a driver’s exacting standards. The company was founded in 2020 by Keith Wood, a successful motorsport graphic designer with a wealth of experience in custom racewear, and former British GT champion and professional racing driver Bradley Ellis. In a short space of time HypeX has established itself as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of customised racewear, gloves and boots.


Sparco’s wider UK distribution is overseen by its long-standing and trusted partner, Demon Tweeks. The market leader for supply of professional motorsport equipment celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
