Cetilar Racing is all set for season's big event as it will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the fifth time consecutively, the first fielding the AF Corse run #47 Ferrari 488 GTE shared by Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Antonio Fuoco.



Taking a podium finish at the Spa opener and the 8 Hours of Portimão victory, the trio faces the fourth out of six FIA WEC rounds leading the LMGTE Am class.



Almost 7000 laps and 1410 race laps completed, covering a total of 27348 kms, a best ninth overall place and the 7th of the class secured at their debut in 2017 and four over four editions finished.




This is the Cetilar Racing palmarés before making its return to the La Sarthe's circuit, following a very positive first part of the year - aiming to consolidate the class lead as Lacorte, Sernagiotto and Fuoco have a two-point margin over their brand mates Nicklas Nielsen, François Perrodo and Alessio Rovera.



"Five 24 Hours of Le Mans represent a huge experience and now we have the right car and team to reach the excellence", Roberto Lacorte said. "The 2021 edition of the race is completely different from the previous ones, when we could count only on the consistency but not on the performance. We must to focus on concentration and the race strategy.”



"We head to our fifth 24 Hours of Le Mans in a different mood comparing to the last years", Giorgio Sernagiotto commented. "We have a very performant package, a great car and excellent squad, all that we need to do well. We feel more pression, but have more enthusiasm too. Racing here is very emotional for all of us”.



"This is my first time at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was love at first sight", added Antonio Fuoco, who is the only driver who never raced at the La Sarthe circuit before.



Monday's Test Day revealed a good setup as the trio completed 39 laps in the first session; two more in the second despite an issue.



After a two-day break, action will be resumed on Wednesday with the first two free practice sessions - the second one will be held by night. A third session is scheduled on Thursday ahead to the Hyperpole at 9 pm. Engines will be off on Friday. Warm-up will commence on Saturday at 11.30. The start of the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans is scheduled at 4 pm.
