Portuguese Off-Road Parts Giant Continues Long-Lasting Partnership with Loretta Lynn’s



MX Sports has announced the return of Polisport as a feature partner of the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, continuing a multi-year agreement. The 41st running of the world’s single-largest motocross event will take place from August 1-6 at Tennessee’s famed Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.


 
Polisport’s track markers serve one of the most important functions of the week-long event by establishing the inside and outside borders of the racing surface. By design, the unassuming white markers go unnoticed to onlookers, but become focal points of each and every rider as they wage battle on the track. The subtle guidance of these established boundaries is pivotal to the success of any given moto by ensuring a fair and level playing field every time the gate drops.



“While their presence at Loretta Lynn’s is largely understated, the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship would not be possible without the support and involvement of Polisport,” said Tim Cotter, Event Director, MX Sports.



“In defining the limits of the track we are able to secure a competitive balance for the hundreds of riders who will chase a championship the first week of August. Anyone who goes beyond the limits of the defined course is subject to penalty and the Polisport markers provide indisputable evidence towards making that determination.”



In addition to the track markers, Lake Polisport serves as what is arguably Loretta Lynn’s most pronounced landmark. The teal green body of water sits nestled inside the track’s longest and most technical turn and provides one of the best vantage points of anywhere on the course.

Thousands of riders will converge on these hallowed grounds in a pursuit of an AMA National Championship across 36 different classes of competition for riders of all ages and progressive skill levels.
