Italian Elia Sammartin will receive the Marcel Seurat Award at the FIM Awards in Monaco as he is the youngest and best rider in the FIM SuperMoto World Championship scene. Being only 17 years old Sammartin steered his twin cylinder Aprilia to a solid 15th place in the S1 class and scored points in each of the eight rounds he entered.
