Dylan Pereira fait briller les couleurs Luxembourgeoises au Moyen Orient

Dylan Pereira démarre 2018 sur les chapeaux de roue et fait briller les couleurs Luxembourgeoises au Moyen Orient
Après quelques mois d’inactivité et avec une voiture mise à sa disponibilité qui n’avait souffert aucun réglage fondamental, Dylan Pereira a relevé le défi de se jeter dans la bataille du très compétitif Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East.
Cette compétition professionnelle a eu ce weekend ses 5ème et 6ème courses d’un total de 12.
Pour la première course, Dylan Pereira est sortie de la 3ème place de la grille, a fait un départ plus rapide que ses adversaires et a mené la course pendant neuf tours. Poussé par Al Faisal Al Zubair, Dylan Pereira s'est retrouvé hors-piste à cinq tours de la fin et a dû abandonner.
Dans la seconde course, avec la voiture plus au moins récupérée de l’accident, le pilote Luxembourgeois est sorti de la 6ème place de la grille et a effectué une remontée spectaculaire terminant la course sur le podium, à la 3ème place de la 6ème manche du championnat Middle East.
Malgré une voiture qui n'a pu être réglée de façon optimale, Dylan Pereira a fait valoir ses excellentes qualités de pilotage dépassant le Britannique Glynn Geddie, Al Wahaibi d’Oman et le Hollandais Charlie Frijns pour assurer une marche et les couleurs Luxembourgeoises sur le podium, avec le vainqueur Al Zubair d’Oman et le Britannique Tom Oliphant qui termina second.
Dylan Pereira retrouve les 15 autres participants du Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East Vendredi et Samedi prochains, à Abu Dhabi.
