Another big name is to be added to the entry list of the Superstars Series. In occasion of the season opener in Monza, Matteo Bobbi will in fact make his debut in the series. Minardi F.1. Test driver in 2002 and 2003, two FIA GT titles won and a wide experience at the wheel of open and closed wheelers, the 32 years old from Milan will drive one of the C63 AMG Mercedes lined up by Roma Racing Team, the team lead by Nico Caldarola.


Relevant is going to be Bobbi's presence in Monza who will aim high on the home circuit and will challenge his friend, and in this occasion rival, Thomas Biagi, with whom he shared in 2003 the wheel of a Ferrari 550 Maranello winning the FIA GT1 Championship (three years later he also won the GT2 title with Jaime Melo).


"I will go to Monza happily." - commented Bobbi - "First of all because it is 'my circuit' and then because on this track Mercedes can express their best. I will also meet some colleagues there like Thomas Biagi: we always raced as team mates but in this occasion, for the first time in our career, we are going to be rivals. I am thrilled of making my debut in the Superstars Series and I have to thank Caldarola for this who in less than 48hours made all necessary preparations allowing me to be at the start".
