Japanese Grand-Prix
Sunday, October 8th 2017

Max wasted no time in taking P3 off the line before making an opportune move on Sebastian Vettel on the first lap to take P2 and line him up behind Lewis Hamilton once again. It would later become apparent that it was an ailing Ferrari however, as Sebastian had to retire from the race.

Just a few laps later, after a virtual safety car, an excellent move around the outside of Esteban Ocon saw Daniel up to P3 as both drivers were unleashed to chase down Hamilton who continued to lead out front.

Max would close the gap to the front on many occasions and pulled right up behind the Mercedes man in the last few laps as the British driver hit traffic. Meanwhile Daniel was in a fight of his own with Valtteri Bottas who battled hard with the Australian for the final podium position throughout.

It meant both Bulls would secure a second consecutive double podium for the Team and a first podium for both drivers in Japan. Lewis Hamilton won the race to extend his Championship lead over main contender Sebastian Vettel.
