Robocar crowned fastest Autonomous vehicle in the World
06.09.2019: We wanted to share our exciting news with you that Robocar has been officially crowned the Fastest Autonomous Vehicle in the World by the Guinness World Records as their 2020 book hit shelves yesterday.
We wanted to share our exciting news with you that Robocar has been officially crowned the Fastest Autonomous Vehicle in the World by the Guinness World Records as their 2020 book hit shelves yesterday.
Robocar was officially adjudicated by the Guinness World Records team at Elvington Airfield (York, UK) back in March, performing two runs which were averaged to produce an official top speed of 282.42kph (175.49mph).
There was no official benchmark to beat, however Guinness World Records set 257kph (160mph) as the unofficial speed that Robocar needed to surpass.
