Hani Shaban- clerck of course of rally Shiraz international 2015- confirmed that all issues related to organizing the third round of Middle East Championship for rallies are going well according to the agreed schedule, either technically or administratively, due to the well praised efforts exerted by all, without exception, as the officials and organizers of Shiraz rally possess now the enough experience to have a successful event this year, we should not forget that Shiraz trial rally 2014 was the real start towards the international success, all these indicators inspire a proof for the success of this rally, we have here 14 participants in this rally headed by the Qatari champion Nasser Al Attiyah, the Kuwaiti Salah Bin Eidan, two participating teams from Oman, Khaled Al Qasmi UAE, three experienced Qatari participants, in addition to 9 participants from Iran.
 



About the nature of this rally stages, Shaban shed the light on the safety procedure applied in this race, which is the most important focus point of any event organized under FIA, “We have more than 120 well trained marshals to manage this event, as Shiraz rally 2015 is internationally monitored by Mr. Marwan Musabeh and the arbitration committee formed by Mr. Anwar Al Zadjali and Mr. Ziad Jamous”, Shaban said.
 



As for the stages of the rally, Shaban said that they are all considered high technique stages and they need special performance style due to the geographical diversity, as we will witness 6 stages in 2 days for K.M 123.26 in the first day, the second day will consist of 8 stages for K.M 124.58 (K.M 247.84 total length), while the link stage will be K.M 667.9.
 

At the end of his statement, Shaban thanked Mr. Nasser Al Attiyah –FIA vice president for his efforts to promote the motor sport in MENA, “ We live this promotion and development alive here in Shiraz international rally , which became an official round of Middle East Championship for rallies , beside the Arab talents which became essential part of this development , as they became well qualified to steer the wheel of motor sport towards a brilliant future, so all thanks and gratitude to Mr. Nasser Al Attiyah for this chance and many others to prove that the Arab can organize any sport event whenever they are asked to do and whatever the volume of the organized event is”. Shaban concluded.
